    I have some of Mr Jone’s knives and really like them. The sheaths are also good quality. Glad to see Deepwoods is still going.

    Thank you for doing a video on this venture. I bought blades from them nearly 20 years ago. And they still are holding up with nothing more than a strop

    I've been carving for over 50 years. Deepwoods Ventures are the best knives available. Excellent video.

    The blades are great - I completely agree. But for me, I found the handles too thin for my large hands so I ended up selling them.

    i just got one , when stroping these blades should i lift up a bit , is there a bevel there? I cant tell.. thanks in advance.

      The instructions on the deepwoods ventures website does mention raising the spine slightly when stropping, so that is what I do on these. If you scroll to the bottom of their website you can find a link with their recommendations on sharpening.

      @@dywoodcarving yes I scribbled a marker on my blade to check and indeed you need to lift slightly, deepwoods ventures mentions lifting half of the blades thickness. Thanks
