The FL loved the wrong guy, and she refused the best and most sincere guy in the end. I mean, if she is happy, good for her. But she was too focused on the differences between her and Ben that she is willing to sacrifice what could have been a happy life. If that were me, i am willing to give a person, that have done absolutely nothing bad to me, a chance. Ben is that person. He could have help her with her business with his background and provide emotional support because he is such a golden retriever.
The question is why was FL so obsessed with this guy then for so long, that she suffered so much for this guy???? And she is supposed to be an expert pr manager but walks alone and unprepared in to a tricky situation and had to be saved by ML...
And the worst part is Ben is so sincere in his feelings for FL yet FL decided to let him go because of their background. I call that BS since I've heard and seen so many people with different backgrounds but still got together, if it's her decision then so be it but in my eyes, she just wasted a golden opportunity of a fulfilling future.
@Dante999000 I was surprised by the ending cos it's different from usual.... But tbh it's a realistic ending too... A family as described like MLs wouldn't accept FL and her life won't be easy even if somehow she struggled.. and after her past experience, she might have been real wary to jump into another that too very unequal one.. like what would she do if ML ever grows tired and seeks someone else, as it can happen in their circles? And I think she values her freedom now and knows it can all go down if she gets together with ML...there is saying in our place about relationships 'when the music is good but if you're struggling to sing, stop singing when it's good so it always remains beautiful ' - I think she just wanted to achieve that, leave her as a beautiful crush and memory for ML, as someone who didn't care about using his background and all..
