Came here after watching MKBHD’s video on LG. Man, it’s a shame they’re shutting down their phone division. Their phones have always been pretty innovative, if a bit unpolished. Lots of phones have come out over the years, but I’ve always remembered the G5 for some reason.

am always drewming about a LG G serie ... I loved the G4 ... and when I saw the G5 I am jut speechless. .. LG is the best for the simple reason it does not compromise. .. it gives the customer full aluminium body , a beauty design. .. and with a removable battery. .. I think LG is going for a new step to lead the world of smartphones... it changes my mind from samsung and apple since the G3 ... and I still want to have one and still believe that LG is caring more about the customers by giving them a real all in one finger print scanner, micro sd slot., full body aluminium, removable battery, high resolutio ...
and i wish i could aford it

lets just hope these addons are not like half the price of the phone
they should have put a 200 mAh battery that keeps the phone alive while you swap the battery out so that you don't have to reboot..
Am I asking for too much, I mean is it to complex to accomplish?
I am sure they can calibrate the sensors to refresh every 5 mins and sense the battery specs so that the reboot is not required..

G2, G3, G4, Galaxy s7 edge. yes LG, I'm leaving. I stayed for the rear buttons, I'll leave because of them too. The bezels are smaller on the edge as well. The headphone port on the bottom was a factor too.

the phone is to small , LG you should have made it at least as big as the G4 or better still the V10, missed opportunity considering most people prefer bigger phones for viewing content and most providers are making their phones bigger for that reason

Sorry but this commercial sucks. Great phone. Bad Marketing. Where is the story behind the phone? Where is the ideas? What do you believe? What do you respresent? Throwing information about "features and features" won't get people to be hyped or loyal.
Check the full product intro. Their motif is to return back the enjoyment of smartphones by having their so-called LG Friends. And their slogan for the G5 is "Life is good when you play more"
And also give the highest flexibility to the consumer by having a modular design.
Plus innovation is always the approach of LG.
