Truly beautiful-I love that the story is told as the “cast” is introduced and incorporated into the scene. Wonderful way to involve the family in the nativity and the story of the birth of Jesus.
I would love to know about Ephraim and where you got the props surrounding him. I hope one day you can make a longer video with a super slow, slow pan so that we can truly see all of these figures. (I get dizzy easily with the faster pan and it's harder to focus)
Hi and thank you for the comment. I purchased Ephraim here: amzn.to/3V2LtUM on Amazon (affiliate) and I'm not sure exactly which props you are looking at but almost everything I have came from the Fontanini line. I will try to do another video this year - I did realize I could have gone much slower and have had a few requests for that, so I'll try to do that this year once it's all set up again. Thank you!!
My thrift store was havIng a half off sale. Scored a nearly complete basic 5 inch set, all in original boxes each with their own story card for $59 plus tax, all in near mint shape These are called the heirloom collection. Got The Holy Family Three Wisemen Gabriel the Shepherd Josiah the bagpiper The Donkey The Sheep (supposed to be four in the box, but sadly one missing) So rare to see Fontanini at thrift stores, especially ones still with the boxes and story cards!
@@Shesaved The sheep is back with the flock, it was in the box with the donkey! One small issue I have is with the standing animals, especially the camels, the legs and hoofs bend easy, no issue with the seated ones.
@@jasonpp1973 Yay on the sheep! We've had a few problems with the little animals (like the goats and sheep) so we "lean" them when needed but I haven't had that issue with Camels. I'm so happy that set found it's way to you and didn't get separated during the donation process.
Is the baby Jesus removable? Can I take him out of the manger? The set we have now, I put Jesus in our advent calendar and we put him in the manger on Christmas Eve night or Christmas Morning.
Hi Bearly Country - yes, baby Jesus is removable, which I really love. This is such a great set, my kids have had so much fun setting it up and rearranging it each year. I love that you add baby Jesus on Christmas, how special!
