1:55 - It's official: the "car engine block + bike engine head" game has gone completely bonkers! I can't wait to see what the next crazy pairing will be. 😄
@@swisscourthustle There´s plenty of bespoke machining here, depending on the block+head combo. But the Berg-Cup guys are no strangers to custom heads, custom blocks or even custom crankshafts...
Fwd are very under rated.... I am going to build a 300hp N/A '88 Toyota Celica. St162... I had one many years ago with 200hp N/A.... It was fantastic stripped the interior it was under 1000kg 👍
@@nigelsmith7366 They're not underrated, people know exactly what they're capable of which is why most people do rwd or awd xD.. Setting up a fwd car like the VW so it doesn't understeer into narnia under throttle and has the right lsd setup, brake balance, just everything is very technical and hard to do compared to the rwd or awd cars. GL with the 300hp NA. Disgustingly expensive and it doesn't hold up long.
The Berg-Cup units are built to an insane level. You may be seeing a 300Hp FWD unit there, but you´re also watching something equipped with top-of-the-line material amounting sometimes to over 200k...
It might honestly just be a bit too big and heavy to properly dance on roads this twisty. Clearly fast, but I think it brute-forced its way to the win here. Erwin Buck's Speiss Scirocco looked far more at home due to how tiny and agile it is, and likely would've won if it had a more than 2000cc and FWD to work with.
Hello and thanks a lot for these 15 Monsters!🔥 I appreciate a lot the Scirocco, very aggressive and fast!!!👍👍👍 Have a fine continuation and see you. 🙏😌

Audi 80 and VW Scirocco in particular did it for me 😜
I don't believe the GT2-R is a NA, as it says in its description.
I pick the VW Scirocco Mk1 Spiess with Erwin Buck
Okay, the Audi 80 B3 Quattro, that turbo flutter makes me smile so much.

There is a point where we needed to stop and we have clearly passed it...
*_But let's keep going and see what happens._*
How does this even work? Are people custom casting heads or blocks to suit?
@@swisscourthustle - Judging by the description, the blocks and the heads are original, they just found a way to make them work together.

@@HillClimbMonsters I figured man...that machine beat Porches and Evos with remarkable consistency! Amazing performance!
I love those hot hatches taken to the limit
A proper Berg-Cup staple ;)
Bro that 1st placed Evo did not even push it to the limit in anyway…. looked more like a sunday afternoon ride xDDD
Imagine if they had pushed it.
I thought the same thing. How can this be that fast or how can everything else be that slow:D
It might just be so stable and composed that it looked like that but...
What a dumb comment 🤣🤣

Awesome.
Both Golf and Scirocco Mk1 are stunning
Thanks!!
That evo is playing a whole different game to the rest of em, so stable.
Happy to see that they struggle to beat both golf

You´re absolutely right, thanks for pointing out, our mistake while editing. Of course it´s a Twin-Turbo as any GT2 unit is.
