I have had mine since April this year and absolutely love it, would definately recommend this beautiful vehicle....a ca you know you are driving but so comfortable it doesn't tire you and when you need the power it gives freely, smoothly and super efficiently 💜🌞
I'm interested to know how you drive it. I have one as well and I love it, but the options are endless. When to use e-power, when to use eco mode , when to drive in electric only, when to use sport mode etc. etc.......any thoughts?
Absolutely brilliant video Jamie i was Lucky enough to go to my local nissan dealership yesterday and they had 3 in stock. I am a disabled driver so obviously without the hand controls fitted i couldn't drive it, but the sales rep took me out for a drive and i was shocked how smooth it is Absolutely beautiful car, i have a 1.7 turbo diesel automatic renault scenic and honestly after the drive in the nissan my Renault sounded like a tractor. So hopefully i will have my new qashqui next Friday. Keep up the brilliant videos good man and thank you.
I have a QQ j12 Tekna, I got it new on 14 February 2022 and I love it, the glass roof is wonderful. I had a Skoda Yeti previously but the QQ is so much better finished. I’m looking at the next car at the moment I’m thinking of the 190 e-Power Automatic 2WD Tekna in Flame Red Light Grey Cloth and Syntech trim. This time I’m also going to add on LED front fog lights and a Nissan dash-cam. Ordering after summer holidays for delivery mid February 2025 as it will be a factory build.
Thank you. We really do believe the concept works and you get best of both worlds; Hybrid fuel efficiency with the driving pleasure of an EV. There's lots of videos on real world consumption reporting 1,000kms on a single tank 👍
I got one last November and I'm getting about 510 miles per tank. Obviously I'm filling up before It runs out completely. Thats pretty much town driving with a few 1/2 hour runs on motorways. I haven't done a long motorway trip yet.
If the engine only charges the battery, why does it need to be 1.5 liters?. Surely a 50cc moped engine would charge a battery and do 150 miles per gallon.
The bty powers the electric motor which is quite big & that elec motor needs a good wack of power from the bty & a moped engine wouldn't be big enough to charge it quickly.
So went along to nissan , nice family car and epower makes it zippier 0-60 and better mpg combined with the E , than ice only. My last quest to the sales person . How many years do you guarantee the electric parts including the gizmo hybrid battery/motor . He wasnt that sure , he checked it and said it is the same as standard ice only non hybrid at 3 yrs 😢 tut tut i thought , the "e power side" and price of the car ( tekna plus 43 ooo uk pounds ) would have had a far longer warranty outside of the standard warranty on the rest of car. Shame 😢
@@MegaPaveo mine is quiet....as with any vehicle depending on wheel size you have to expect road noise to a degree, also depends on how many in car......
Nothing spectacular about the fuel consumption an old quashqai diesel can do better than that. Also you keep saying how quiet the car is while saying the battery is small the engine will be running a lot of the time while driving.
All good until generator fails without warning. We are told our car will be off road for 10-12 WEEKS. It has already been off road for 3 weeks. Dec 23 Tekna Plus E-Power, 3500 miles HELP 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
No. I drove it yesterday. Have an Audi Q4 e-tron 45 quattro BEV . It's not really better but mine was 15.000 € more expensive than the e-power Tekna version. Today it's even more. The Qashqai drives like a pure BEV and the combustion engine is very quiet unless you push it really hard. GREAT CAR.
Driving in town the engine won't be running much if you use the regen braking system & you do lots of braking in town, so hardly any pollution. On the open roads mway the engine will be on more but careful eco driving mode will help. At the moment the recharge points for EV cars are sparse & at the mway there can be a queue & 30min per car you can be there for 90mins-2hrs. So Hybrids are a stop gap & in streets it's not been addressed. Hybrids are more valuable in town driving at present.

Hi Jane, delighted to hear that feedback and recommendation. We are super proud of Qashqai ePower. Wishing you many years of happy motoring.
Were you waiting long for it Jane?

Thanks Paul

That's quite a wait, if you order it say Sept Oct. Made in UK also I presume.
I had one this month and I love it ❤
A clear well presented view of a great looking car keep up the good work Jamie
Test drove and one on order, this will be my 5th Qashqai
Nice video review thanks. What's the range on full tank? Is it even close to diesel car's?
😮In my Kuro edition quasquai I'm getting between 50 to 55 miles per gallon.......not sure if thats good or not.
Hi, i am making appx 950 km on full tank.
Like the review but how's about showing with the rear seat down, are they flat? a lot of reviews seem to be missing this aspect .
It is flat with the luggage board in the high position
@@marmal320Almost! flat.
I’ve ordered mine and expecting delivery in September
Great to hear. We're sure it will be worth the wait
Is this plug in as well ,how is the range when full charge
No. The engine is the generator to charge the battery.
@robertpetch4717 how much mileage does it give on full tank

@@NissanIrelandCmon, Kms? Let's be miles, are all your road signs in Kms?
also in town, doing lots of braking & engaging Regen braking that charges the bty, so the ICE won't come on much, thus nearly fuel free.
@@seltaeb3302 Yes, all the road signs are in kilometres
What’s its fuel consumption like on motorways?
We have the Kicks in the Philippines consuming 21km/l combined city and highway. Its very fuel efficient and its fast.
We agree. Its very fuel efficient particularly within Urban Environments and you can't beat the acceleration and responsiveness 😃
The best all Car Nissan E POWER 2023 ,,,Just buy it ,do it,, no charging ,,freedom car
No plug in charging that is. There is always charging.
How many miles can it go on one full tank ???????????
I make 950-1000
Got a 2021 qashqai my next one will be e power

Engine ICE does & regen braking also which in town you do lots off.

How long is the wait to get one roughly?
I'm ordering one tomorrow & wait 3-4 weeks UK, because built in Sunderland. Ireland, sorry Eire, may be different with all that EU malarkey.
Ordered one Saturday the kuro edition
Great to hear. We're sure you'll enjoy it 🚗
What's the 0-100km time in seconds.
7.9 seconds.

Hi I am collecting next month e Conneta e power!
Is the battery only guaranteed under warranty for 3 years?
The EV components including the battery/motor/inverters etc have 5 years warranty or until 60,000 miles (according to the Nissan UK website at least)
The Generator only has a warranty of 3 years. This is NOT good enough. Should be 5 years like the rest of the electrical parts.
If the engine only charges the battery, why does it need to be 1.5 liters?. Surely a 50cc moped engine would charge a battery and do 150 miles per gallon.
It's a small battery, also the engine is probably not turbo charged.
The bty powers the electric motor which is quite big & that elec motor needs a good wack of power from the bty & a moped engine wouldn't be big enough to charge it quickly.
this tecnology is not exclusive to nissan. it used by opel 10-11 years ago.
yes and bmw i3 rex they are both better than this nissan
Collect our Pearl Black N Connecta e power QQ next Monday

Not a quiet vehicle. Battery should be larger, more like the size of a self-drive hybrid.
