I'm a financial advisor and the number of young people I see right now putting anywhere from 5k to 20k on a credit card to go on a trip they can't afford is crazzzzyyyyyy. I can't afford to travel at this stage in my life. So I don't. It hasn't killed me yet.
Personally, I have no sympathy for Gen Z. A lot of them voted for this incoming administration and a lot of their bad financial habits are what are going to put them in a whole world of hurt when our economy eventually defaults and crashes. Not my problem, nor yours. Don't lose sleep over it.

Starting out your marriage with an additional 30k or more of debt is a way to speed run divorce. My wife and I ended up spending more on our wedding than we wanted to but what we didn't do was take out loans or run up credit cards. Get off social media, stop trying to compete with people that don't know you or care about you. The wedding is one day. It blows my mind how sheep like people are with hyper consumerism.
I found that Chanel bag. It ranges between $2200-2400 used. I dug a bit deeper and found out that brand new would be about $7200! Why women have a collection of designer bags is beyond me.
My sister collects birkin bags (she doesn't buy from the store but from resellers) as a sort of investment asset since they resell for pretty high. I get it but it's kinda scary considering how much it can depreciate from the smallest defects
We went down the street and got married and went back to my Dad's house for take out fried chicken and beer. We spent the night at Holiday Inn in the next town and Monday got up and went to work. This October 2024 we were married 50 years. The wedding doesn't make the marriage.
After watching Financial Audit for a while, I have noticed almost everyone in the worst debt also have pets. They can barely feed and care for themselves and then they’ll also have 2 dogs and a cat.
Financial audit is also clickbait. Caleb Hammer has no legal Financial advising basis. His shtick is the reactionary explosiveness of poor finances. Notice how he never interviews financially responsible people.
@@Not_Lewis Also, he's honestly just really mean to some of those people he brings on the show. I don't understand why we mock someone and make fun of them when they're already in an unfortunate situation. It would be one thing if it was just reactionary and financial advice, but some of his content is pretty mean spirited.
I highly recommend just making your favorite drinks and food from home or simply drinking some water. If you don't know how and you consistently buy the same drink, I would consider learning. I am amazed at classmates who spend $3 on a very small cup of black coffee. People spending $7 on coffee they hate is also ridiculous! My box of tea is about $5 for way more than one cup. I know I get teased for waking up so early by friends to feel prepared and not rushed, but I put on my kettle, pull out my thermos, and add a tea bag. My drink is ready for me to take on the go. I also carry my water because that is free to refill as well. This has probably saved me hundreds of dollars as silly and frugal as it is :)
I bought a $6 milk frother online this year so that I can make London fog at home. :) I was paying about $4 per cup, but it costs about $1.70 per cup to make at home, and that's with me using organic Earl Grey, real vanilla extract, and lavender. It's awesome making things at home.
I always make a pot of coffee in the morning. The only time I ever buy coffee is when I get stuck on an unexpected overtime shift. I’ve saved so much money making my coffee at home.
@@CrepuscularQueen good for you! I do the same thing. I feel that during COVID with so many places closed down, I got into the regular habit of taking all my lunches and snacks with me. I had to put my cat down Friday after a 5800 dollar procedure. I luckily have a veterinary fund (he was too old to get insurance on), but it still didn't save him. Pets are absolutely a massive responsibility and expensive. They're little creatures that do not understand what's going on and rely on you 100% all the time. It's like a permanent toddler. Edit: anyone who comments "haha scammed" "no cat is worth this amount" etc. is a weird freak with no empathy! Just act like a normal person, man. It's really not that hard, I promise.
I’m sorry for your loss… I’ve been there a couple of times. Walking out of the vet bawling your eyes out because you had to let your furr baby go is awful.
Almost exactly like a toddler. I had to tell someone this. They hated kids cause they’re expensive and take up your time, but he wanted 4 dogs… 🐕 They still have to be trained, fed, doctor visits, proper exercise, daycare/pet sitter you can’t just leave on a whim… responsibly

We adopted a dog from the Humane Society and loved every minute we had with him. Unfortunately he had severe dental problems and needed almost all his teeth removed (about $100 per tooth). Afterwards he had to eat soft food, and he had a couple of severe bouts of pancreatitis which required round the clock emergency care. Years later he developed a hacking cough which turned out to be heart failure. His medical bills were astromonical and he needed a lot of extra care, especially the last year and a half of his life. We bought and administered specially compounded medications throughout the day and kept him on a special (expensive) diet. At times I had to cook food and hand feed him. He was my soul dog and I miss him dearly, but the cost of keeping him alive and the restrictions on our lives to take care of him were very substantial. We sacrificed a lot because he was our family, but I would think long and hard before getting another pet.
These days it really important to get insurance for your pet. The problem is they do not take a dog past 10 years old. Which makes it expensive to adopt. But I would have called the humane society and see of they could have done, especially of you did not have them long.
What kind of dog was he? Some dog breeds are more prone to these kinds of things. The stuff you describe sounds like stuff you typically see in Dashcund mix, chow, or boxer mixes. Poor fella, glad he was loved and cared for ❤
I can’t help but notice, especially among the guests on Financial Audit, it’s always the brokest people who have the most pets. And pets are 100% a luxury. They’re very expensive and no one needs a pet. I have a bunny and you wouldn’t believe what he costs me. Anytime I have to part with a serious chunk of change at the vet, etc. I remind myself that he’s a luxury and he didn’t choose this, I did. I can afford it, I’ve never put anything he needs on credit card.
Same, it always shocks me, I would love some pets, and I’m not in a bad spot, but I can’t justify having a cat or dog or anything like that cutting into my savings rate and in such a tight rental market it’s hard to get a good rental at all much less one that allows pets. I’m working on getting my own place and saving before I’ll get a pet
@ good for you for waiting. You’ll have a much better idea of what you can afford once you have your own place. I really wanted to get a second bunny but decided against it because it would essentially double my pet costs and presently, I’m not prepared to deal with that.

My worst financial decision was becoming a kpop collector. I went as far buying buying a $200 album, $120 photocard...I was addicted to the dopamine of buying "limited" merchandise. Must have spent around 10k in 6 years.... I "woke up" this year and basically resold everything for pretty low, I maybe made 2k out of what I bought since theyre considered 'unsealed'. I rationalised it by saying it's a hobby and made me happy, but it went to the point I was stressed over completing my collection and didn't make me happy anymore...

Yup. It’s okay to have a relatively inexpensive hobby, but it seems a lot of ppl out there think every new thing they get into needs to be some sort of passion they put all their time, and money into.

The whole "I thought I'd just marry a rich guy" is the thought process of so many women that it's some kind of group delusion at this point. Even telling them the actual numbers of men who would fit that, and all of their other requirements (which is comically low), doesn't dissuade them.
Hard agree with the cost of dogs. 2 of ours have had lots of medical issues between knee replacements, skin conditions, cancer scans, arthritis… over the past 4/5 years we have spent literally THOUSANDS. We are in a position where we can afford it even without insurance. But we prioritise them and always have money put to one side for anything they might need.
the scary thing is with how rampant social media is now im afraid there will be poor souls out there that will listen to this advice and basically wreck their lives.
He’s also probably wrong about his whole theory. Look up outcomes for kids leaving care - a bad/traumatic childhood with no safety net in early adult years makes your chances of success LOWER.
@@YouMissedBroTHIS!!! Fuck the amount of people who get three cats (as kittens) and get an estimate for spay/neuters and cannot afford it is crazy! Poor animals end up suffering because people cannot afford basic care / vet visits for their animal.
Nobody can afford pets anymore. Just routine care is expensive. I would love to get a small dog. I'm getting old and I'd like the companionship but my budget won't allow it. How sad, work all your life and now you can't even afford a pet.
I adopted a rescue as a puppy when I was just barely 21 and still living with my parents. They helped me with adopting her because they could see I was putting the work in and that my mental health was getting better because of her. I have frankly been blessed with her health; she has had zero major health scares or injuries and at 9 years old she acts more 4. My husband and I just took the precaution this year of getting a thorough workup done of senior bloodwork and she passed with flying colours. But one thing that people don't understand is that this isn't always the case. Everyone who knows me knows how much I love and want to rescue more dogs in my life, but what's so hard to explain to people is dog foster and adoption isn't just the fun insta worthy moments where they cuddle up to you for the first time or go home to their forever family. If you want to get into adopting shelter dogs, you have to be ready for health problems. Whether it's food sensitivities which means accidents and sick on the floor, joint problems, skin issues, tooth decay, anxiety induced seizures, the list goes on. Medical care is so important for them and if you're not set up to provide them that, do not bring them into your life.
That poor parrot that the woman bought. Those birds can live for 20 years. It’s not a pet you buy on a whim. It’s going to be with you for a quarter of your life!
20 years? Try 80!! 7K, it was likely a Macaw! They also require the same amount of attention that you would give to a young child, or your house will be destroyed or they will pluck their feathers until they are bald!
My worst financial decision was buying so much Starbucks while in undergrad. Spent 7,689.42 USD every year on coffee that doesn’t even taste good. I make my own coffee at home now and I spend 1,500 USD a year. When I thought about all the investments I could have and where I would be financially, I literally cried. :(
But how did you only realize after the fact? Isn't it obvious that $6 coffee isn't sustainable as a daily habit .. if you're not rich? I believe you did know, but made the choice to indulge regardless.
@@pm2886people tend to not think about that, especially if they’re young or have disposable income. I was buying Starbucks lattes from the store every two weeks at about $2-3 a pop, my rationale was it’s $2-3 every two weeks, that’s not bad. Then I realized all of that sugar is not good for me or my wallet so I stopped
My worst purchase was a boat. Unless you want your whole life to be about boating, or you’re insanely rich, never buy a boat. Also, the scamming in the boat business makes the car business look downright wholesome; it can be the nicest looking old grandma, she just cleaned the oil leaks up 5 mins before you got there. I’ve literally never seen someone buy a boat that didn’t have some serious problem that the seller was hiding.
10:58 The ''problem'' with solar panels is that you have to live at a place that has regular and strong sunlight. For example in Greece where I live it was a no brainer and we got the money we invested back in like 3-4 years. Also even though the technology is getting better that does not mean that the already installed panels are useless.
Wholeheartedly agree with not having pets if you cannot afford them. They deserve better. My two giant breed dogs (Cane Corso) cost me around $300/month for their expenses and their yearly vaccinations/preventatives are around $1500.
@@jalexja you do realise shelters are putting down dogs every second. Ive seen broke homeless people with healthy happy dogs. Not having money is no reason to say dogs should be put to sleep fyi.
@boostedhawkeye2827 I'm not saying they should be put to sleep. But it gets tiring seeing people get pets, pets get sick, and then they cannot afford vet care and let their animals suffer.
@@boostedhawkeye2827 The bigger issue is all the spoiled people in the US that insist on buying purebred dogs instead of adopting shelter dogs, and the breeders that keep breeding them, that is the biggest source of pets being euthanized solely because they cannot find homes!

The rise in pet abandonment here in the UK is now huge. I'm sure it's the same over there. Too many people with no ability to care for a pet financially have one. If you can't afford the vet, don't get the pet is the perfect piece of advice. Pets aren't accessories in your home. They are a living breathing thing that needs you for their survival.
I had a chinchilla that I gave away to my brother. The vet overtreated her with medications and she passed away. But she had a good 7 years of life filled with love. I no longer believe in owning pets, especially not to fill some void.
It’s usually not fair to the animal anyway. 90% of the time animals are left alone during the day when owners are at work. I know because we used to have two large high needs German Shepherds. 15 years of that, worrying about them, feeling guilty when at work, not going on Holidays because no one to take proper care of them, then one dying while we were on holidays…..etc etc. only way I would have an animal now is: fully retired, lots of $$ saved, living on a farm.
@princessmiaxo Not really, cats and dogs cost a fortune at the vet! A chinchilla does not require regular vaccines and vet visits yearly, teeth cleanings etc. A basic cat/dog visit for vaccines now is like 2-300 dollars!! A chinchilla only goes tot he vet when they are old and sick.
@elisabethkiesel4567 farm life is the most humane, but I don't really like the idea of living on a farm. I feed the birds outside and watch them instead of pets.
@princessmiaxo It costs more because you're paying for a specific breed of dog, then grooming and daycare, then food, then toys and so on. It depends on how much free time you have to spend, which if you factor that in as dollars per hour, costs close to a vehicle a month.
I've said this on another creator's video, but I'm saying it again here: You can get a quality leather bag by going to a leatherworker. It will be the same quality as a designer bag (maybe higher). They can also take custom orders. Yes, it will be several hundred dollars, but it is a purse that won't end up in a landfill or a thrift shop. It can be used and repaired for decades. Further, regarding creating problems for yourself to make yourself work hard: that's stupid! Learn how to discipline yourself and work hard without pain and suffering.

No need to change a solar panel to a newer one. Where did you get that from? They tend to maintain at least 80% of initial efficiency after 20 years, and the last figure I read is that ROI is around 8-10 years. Many people think it's a good long time investment.
I own a dog and she is one of the best things I have done for my mental health. Although the amount of people getting pets with no understanding of the cost is insane, mine is insured and I can afford all my bills and the extra cost she brings. Responsible pet owners are a must imo

Worst decisionI made was following the age old advice not to take the first job offer out of college. Would've been $40k + commission for medical equipment sales. Problem was I graduated in 2008 and didn't get another offer till 2 years later after doing a free internship.
Thats your experience and I think you misunderstood the advice. I personally would actually recommend the same when entering a new career. Companies who accept people with zero experience almost on the spot are usually the worst place to work at. Basically what happened to me twice was i sent out a bunch of resumes and there were companies who hired me almost immediately, while other companies were still considering my offer. Both times I deeply regretted this decision. They pray on inexperienced workers who are willing to work hard and be underpaid because they dont know any better and are afraid to not get any other offer.
Best Financial advise I ever got was, "everything you waste financially today and 3 times more your you have to do to replace tomorrow". Also Crypto today is the Stock market from the 80's and early 90's. Topo many people get burned because too many people are out to burn other people.
In my experience cats and dogs average $2000 per year for vets, pet meds, foods, litter, toys, occasional boarding or sitters etc. Some years it's much lower, but some years are huge. Older pets are more expensive than young ones. Kinda like people except 10 times less expensive. I've also had solar for over 10 years and it's true that my system is no longer as good as a new system, but its still close, so I don't agree with the downside of solar that it is obsolete after 5 years. Be careful about who owns the panels and who gets which advantage monthly. There are installers who will talk you into a deal that is not great for you.

Zac Thank you for your videos. Folks need to learn about being financially responsible. Fortunately my wife and I were always good with our money and now we are enjoying our retirement, comfortably. 😊
Some pets cost more than you think. I got my daughter a hamster years ago and to give Buttons a good life cost me more per day than my dog! It lived to nearly 2 years old without illness but it never stopped biting. No more hamsters again.
1:11 Getting into debt and then using it as a motivation and trying your best to repay the debt is like voluntarily suffocating yourself till your brain is half dead and then getting all hooked up in an ICU trying to stay alive. BTW my worst financial decision is actually in a small amount but just too ridiculous thinking back. Back when the Gamestop meme stock thing was going on I bought half a dozen shares at a high price point "just to get in on it and have some fun". Ended up selling them at 60% realized loss. It was not a lot of money, the loss was like $180, but it was just unfathomably stupid. I could have used the $180 on so many things. Instead I blew it just because I wanted to get in on the hottest meme trend.
I think the biggest issue with the student loan conversation is that people dump all loans into the same basket. 250,000 of loans cause you went to an expensive private school for the experience (my friends words not mine) is way different than l than me getting 30k of loans for 2 bachelors and 2 masters I grinded to get scholarships, budgeted hard, went to random events to get free food to save money, and in my first year out I’m making 6 figures in my field of choice so it was worth every penny cause I was strategic about it. And now my company wants to pay for my MBA College is an INVESTMENT not a necessity. Student loans shouldn’t be scary but they should be respected as the risk they are. It’s wild that FOMO is putting people in a lifetime of debt. I blame a lot on bad or misinformed parenting and less on the stressed out 17 year olds making the decision

Fantastic video🔥🔥! I have incurred so much losses trading on my own....I trade well on demo but I think the real market is manipulated.... Can anyone help me out or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong??
Trading on a demo account can definitely feel similar to the real market, but there are some differences. It's important to remember that trading involves risks and it's normal to face looses sometimes. One piece of advice is to start small and gradually increase your investments as you gain more experience and confidence. It might also be helpful to seek guidance from experienced traders or do some research on different trading strategies.
If you are trading without a professional guide... Ah, I laugh, because you will stay where you are or even suffer huge losses that will prevent you from trading, this has been one of the biggest problems for new traders.
I think a lot of people who go to college, as you said, waste it so much. It’s not just about getting that degree. You have to make it purposeful: network, interact more with professors who are experts in their field or have already retired, my first character reference was a big shot because i overdid it in his class but i never actually used that rather the classes where it was more retiree professors than academic ones that i still use to this day. (10 years later)
In case anyone was caught off-guard by the "can take an exam for a certification in pharmacy" part, that is for a pharmacy TECHNICIAN not a PHARMACIST. Pharmacists require 6 to 8 years of college(2-4)/pharmacy(4) school and is a doctorate program. There is a certification course for pharmacy technicians that a lot of hospitals now use and if you get in and pass there's generally a guaranteed job for you.
Worst diabolical decision i made was going to an art college. Naive 18 year old me had this ambition of making it as an illustrator/designer. Do the work get good grades and expect a job, but turns out i needed to network with professionals ontop of working a job and college assignments. Now that I graduated, Ive been much happier away from art school, but not free from debt. Either way im still doing illustrations/designs part time, but currently working a decent chill job that pertains to my major.

It’s really heartbreaking to see how inflation and recession impact low-income families. The cost of living keeps rising, and many struggle just to meet basic needs, let alone save or invest. It’s a reminder of the importance of finding ways to create financial opportunities. You've helped me a lot sir Brian! Imagine i invested $50,000 and received $190,500 after 14 days

My electricity bill used to be over $500 a month. I now have solar panels, but I’m renting the energy rather than owning the panels. Even with this setup, I feel like I’m being overcharged, but I can’t quite figure out how. I agreed to pay $300 a month for electricity for the next 25 years. Before this, the electricity was in my mother’s name, and she had to be on a payment plan because our bills were so high, sometimes reaching $600. We live in Illinois and use Ameren. When I lived in an apartment, my electricity bills were never this high. I’ve asked around, and it seems this level of expense is common here. We’re in a single-family home that’s about 1,400 square feet.
Around @20:40 I’ve never in my life looked someone dead in the eye on TH-cam and we both smile at each other knowingly until just now. Thanks for the moment. Careful out there, men!!! We’re more than just wallets. 🏦
Friend of mine got solar panels installed in 2019, cost about 100k and his electric bill went from 200ish to maybe 20-30 bucks average, some months he made money. However it will take over 40 yrs for him to recoup the cost, and that is not accounting for the compounding interest that 100k would have net him if he had invested it. The kicker is for the same install, it is now less than 50k as cost go down over time and also a solar panel in 2024 is like 30-40% more efficient than his. Don't do it!
Dude what crazy solar panels are Americans getting, my parents paid 10k in 2003 to have half the roof done and it's long making a profit (in central Europe).
I own horses. A thoroughbred and a Tennessee Walking horse. 1300 lbs each. The expense when they’re healthy is astronomical. Calling the vet is extremely expensive. I can easily afford them. I love them and have a home with private stable just so I can personally care for them. I see so many buying their bratty teenage girls horses because they want one. Never lasts. Parents can’t afford to stable board and feed them properly and soon the girl gets tired of the horse and these poor horses are then dumped. Some end up malnourished and abused. Hate these people.
Ok. I bought my filtration system in 2006. Paid cash. I transferred it to my 2nd home and the installation was free. We absolutely love it. But DONT go into debt for it.
Getting a pet weirdly has been a good decision for me, financially. After a really traumatic job experience, I started job-hopping like crazy, getting triggered by anything that reminded of the previous job. Since i got my cat, I've stuck it out after the first challenging thing because I needed to pay her bills and it turns out not all jobs are terrible.
You can bet your farm that rich men will run your financials in advance of a serious relationship AND put an ironclad prenup in place. Just take care of your own self like an adult.
I’m a tax professional and the solar panel scams are intricate and deeply manipulative. I’ve had to explain this scam several times and have seen it decimate financial/tax situations because of false information and tactics used to convince people they’ll save on their taxes or even earn extra money.
I am still getting destroyed for making a comment two years ago that people who can barely take care of themselves should not have pets. I think the reason I am getting ruined is because I was specifically talking about homeless people with dogs. I know they are comforting but how selfish is it to keep or adopt a pet when you can barely keep your head above water.
I'm somewhere in the middle, if you have a pet and your situation changes that's allright. But when you are broke you make it so much harder on yourself by getting a pet. Not just direct cost also the added cost+restrictions on finding a place to rent.
i seriously don't understand the obsession with starbucks. I love coffee (black, with one sugar), but starbucks is so shit. I've literally have been there only when someone else pays for it and invites me. The last time was a couple weeks ago, my boss wanted to chat so he invited me to one nearby. it was a very sunny day so i asked for a green tea lemonade, and a sandwich that looked right. It was like $18 for what i asked, and it was so fucking horrible. Horrible taste, pretty much a green tea bag with half a lemon squeezed in, and the sandwich was sooooo light, it was like 100grs, so i walked out with so much hunger. I buy a pound of ground coffee and can drink the entire month something way better
I don’t think she’s wrong about the pet. We have 3 dogs but before we got our 3rd dog I went and figured out how much more the monthly cost would be (food, supplements) as well as minimum vet costs and training before we got our last one especially. People pay $2K for a puppy and then don’t factor in $500 to spay, along with vaccinations, and training. It’s so frustrating to see.

My mother loves bags but never spends thousands on them. Luckily she gives them to me when she doesn't want them anymore 😁
Shes gay! Or something
The really good ones actually appreciate in value.
No one lost money underestimating the intelligence of the American public.
My sister collects birkin bags (she doesn't buy from the store but from resellers) as a sort of investment asset since they resell for pretty high. I get it but it's kinda scary considering how much it can depreciate from the smallest defects
A monthly payment for a wedding lol. That’s new to me.
It's nothing new now days.
Marriage could be long over and you'd still be paying monthly installments 😂
The dumbest decision ever
We went down the street and got married and went back to my Dad's house for take out fried chicken and beer. We spent the night at Holiday Inn in the next town and Monday got up and went to work. This October 2024 we were married 50 years. The wedding doesn't make the marriage.
There definitely seems to be an inverse relation between the amount of money spent on the wedding and the success rate of the marriage😅

My ex used to tell me “money shouldn’t matter when it comes to marriage.” She was $50k in debt and hid it from me majority the relationship. Safe to say…remember I said ex, and I’m considered the “narcissist” according to her. 😂
Going to Columbia University for a "Theater Acting" degree.......... I'm amazed, and not in a good way.
I support him. Nothing wrong with the arts, we can't all be engineers.
Finding and getting a decent paying job in theater acting is more much difficult than most people think
@@F3udF1stthey use these degrees to lure in rich domestic and international students. The degree itself is intrinsically worthless to say the least, it’s a scam and I’m tired of universities getting away with publishing useless, worthless degrees.
@@F3udF1st Why do you need a degree from Columbia to act? Why not join an amateur dramatic society and start there?

i lol'd when you thought chanel bags may be in the hundreds... that girl probably dropped 5 bands on that thing.
Going into debt to scare yourself into being more productive is crazy, as it adds unnecessary risk. It’s not just about productivity but also luck. You could get sick or have an accident. There are countless things in life beyond your control, and having a mountain of debt on top of that could ruin your life.
Worst I spent money on was flight school. It was very expensive and nearly impossible to make it to the big leagues without going into debt. Luckily I cut my loses early. If you want to become a pilot, have the military pay for your training and get the free flight hours.
I love my dog very much but I’m done with animals after him. The cost is crazy and I have pet insurance.
Me too, my 8 year old dog is on meds twice a day and needs repeated expensive bloodwork. It’s cost me thousands of dollars every year while I’m trying to get out of debt. I’m taking a break from animals after he goes.
Zac
Thank you for your videos.
I totally agree about pets. The cost of keeping an animal has sky rocketed along with anything else. Especially those vet fees.
Thanks - you’re a good content creator 👍
250,000 of loans cause you went to an expensive private school for the experience (my friends words not mine) is way different than l than me getting 30k of loans for 2 bachelors and 2 masters
I grinded to get scholarships, budgeted hard, went to random events to get free food to save money, and in my first year out I’m making 6 figures in my field of choice so it was worth every penny cause I was strategic about it. And now my company wants to pay for my MBA
College is an INVESTMENT not a necessity. Student loans shouldn’t be scary but they should be respected as the risk they are. It’s wild that FOMO is putting people in a lifetime of debt. I blame a lot on bad or misinformed parenting and less on the stressed out 17 year olds making the decision
Since I started watching your videos , i used to be impulsive shopper and was a girl maths type of goal , I'd literally be broke like a week after my salary which I get quite alot , live at home and barely have any necessities !! These have helped me stay on track / not going shopping anymore for silly things that i dont even need
Thank you
💗
I think my worst financial decicions are all the times I bought something because I saw someone on YT (or other social media)that I followed have it. Buying it made me think I would have the life (or body) they have. A special kind of dress, a certain type of book,.... Little things in itself but if I would add it all up, urg, it would not be pretty.
I've finally learned though and I've stopped doing that.
WARNING WARNING WARNING
To all renters. I rented a place in 2004, rent was 750. Today, that same unit is 2750. That is a $50 per year increase, so if you're 25, now paying 2750. By the time you are 45, rent will be 4750, and when you are set to retire at 65, the rent will be 6750. If you don't believe it. It's happening in NY now. Average rent is over 5k a month
the manufacturing debt guy just reminded me when I use to sell cars when I was you, my general sales manager at the time told us if we want to make a lot of money we need to get into debt to motivate ourselves to make money.
Watching from Edinburgh, Scotland following todays rugby. Love the hat😁
I feel bad for the Columbia student because my sister and I went there (i dropped out and she graduated) we're doing nothing in the fields we wanted and the school heavily favored certain majors over others, built a stupid building no one asked for and made the students foot the bill, and their advisors HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING. More than once i took a class i didnt need to because i was instructed to. A lot of our friends are also not in the field and are in debt because theydid such an awful job heloing their students find work post graduation (especially since covid happened during this time) If i could go back i would have picked up a trade and tried to make it in the art scene on the side
Zac your videos always hit! You are easily my fav commentary TH-camr right now. Keep up the amazing content
LOVE THE HAT!!! The wallabies are the best. -A grateful Aussie
Honestly, the "get rich quick" stuff is so hard. It's so predatory, and so few people benefit from it, and they're usually already wealthy
My ex leased solar panels without telling me (he didnt understandwhy we broke up). It was a nightmare when we split up and sold the house- luckily the lease was only a few years old so payments were still small. I do feel bad for the new owners though once those monthly payments start creeping up.
I think l'm blessed if not I have met someone who is as spectacular as expert mrs Fenella..
Highly recommended🙌
Wow, I'm surprised to see Fenella mentioned here as well. I didn't know she had been kind to so many people
I'm also a huge beneficiary of her..
I thought myself and my family were
the only ones enjoying Fenella

My 2008 Scion TC is named “Scionara” in honour of her Japanese heritage, and she is most definitely female (I’ve checked her undercarriage)!
(10 years later)
best advice ive ever got : if it look too good to be true, it too good to be true. easy like that.
"Bucktooth M4" 🤣
Don't simply retire from something; have something to retire to. Start saving, keep saving, and stick to investments. Everyone should have BTC in their portfolio
Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.
Some persons think inves'tin is all about buying stocks; I think going into the stock market without a good experience is a big risk, that's why I'm lucky to have seen someone like mr Brian C Nelson.
Finding yourself a good broker is as same as finding a good wife, which you go less stress, you get just enough with so much little effort at things
Brian demonstrates an excellent understanding of market trends, making well informed decisions that leads to consistent profit.
Mercedes C300 with 4MATIC. I did buy this off lease so it wasn't too bad but the cost of ownership is a bit high. Anyway learned my lesson and figured out a car is to get me from point A to point B doesn't mean we have to be ashamed of our car but no one cares what we drive so be sensible about it.
11:32 The M4 Comp is the dream but I cant imagine the 21yo insurance + the reliability costs.
I’ve inherited a pet from my deceased parent that was bought as a puppy when I was a teen, now it’s over 13 years later and I’m facing the difficult decision of vet bills I can’t afford and putting down this dog I’ve loved over half my life. I can’t get decent insurance now because my dog is an older purebred. It’s so hard.
Community college dropouts i knew i liked this dude 😂😂😂
You the real thing I love about your video's? You do not overuse the word : "literally" , and that is a great feat, especially in 2024.
LOL that crypto girl!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Around @20:40 I’ve never in my life looked someone dead in the eye on TH-cam and we both smile at each other knowingly until just now. Thanks for the moment. Careful out there, men!!! We’re more than just wallets. 🏦
Videos like this make me feel so much better about myself
@CocoLicious Depends on the size and roof, his was a fairly big house, I think 4k or 5k sq ft.
My cats are my life. I would spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and go into debt to spoil them.
Great way to stay poor
Yeah being a financial black hole is an absolute turn off. Sorry but it doesn't matter how good I'm with my money if my spouse throws it all away.
my fat cat doesnt need much other then food 😅
I’m a tax professional and the solar panel scams are intricate and deeply manipulative. I’ve had to explain this scam several times and have seen it decimate financial/tax situations because of false information and tactics used to convince people they’ll save on their taxes or even earn extra money.
I love your videos! Watched so many videos and just realized I wasn’t subscribed. ✅ Keep pumping out great videos!
Used Porsche. Upkeep and maintenance twice the purchase price. Spiders loved it.
'Know they self'.
Love your vids bro, but whats up with the Wallabies hat?
You forgot to add 20 sugar cubes. And the sandwich is just for Instagram pictures.
It’s so frustrating to see.
worst mistake for a lot of old people is buying saladmaster kitchen stuff, they cost an arm and leg.
Relying on someone else for financial security is the stupidest gamble anyone can make
