I have a problem, give me headaches every day working whit Xerox/Fiery. Every time i turn the machine sometimes when i send a printjob gets stuck in the job list while processing, doesn't goes to print section in fiery workstation, nothing happens. Also can't cancel or delete the job. To get start printing something i need to shutdown the xerox c60 (fiery doesn't shut off automatically with the machine, which means that its stuck or some problem whit, otherwise it would turn off too), turn off fiery with the button in the back. Turn on all over again and praise all gods to start printing something. Why this happens? Is there any other way more easy instead restarting the machine? Thanks.
Your almost certainly missing software patches for the Fiery. Is the fiery connected to the internet with “correct” DNS and Gateway address? And have auto update enabled? Also if you install Command workstation on a local PC you should be able to se the “stuck” job and get an error description, and be able to delete the problem job without a reboot....unless it has really “crashed” the entire fiery server. If all else fails I can help you durring the week after 5;00pm. I no longer work for Xerox 😥 but not many people are left with the skill set on Fierys I have.

When i turn the machine/fiery i have some luck at first time and it prints all the way, other times that i turn on starts bugging me to restart the machine until it prints something at first attempt. About the patches, im not sure where i could see those to apply. I only work whit Xerox/Fiery about a year and half and all this time i'm trying to figure this out. This fiery "behaviour" makes me to lose time... It's something in Fiery "desktop" box because, like i said above when i turn off the xerox and see that fiery won't turn off also the same time it's because it's stuck whit something that makes me to go back the machine to turn off and on the button. I can manage the software Fiery Command Workstation when the printjob is stuck in the "Processing" mode. Example, when i have others printjobs in queued i can cancel them, but the one at first that it's stuck i can't cancel or deleted... Other option that i've have been trying is only turnning off and on button at the fiery box to reconnect the server and when it's connected again i can cancel/delete the job that it's stuck/spooled. But from this part i could have luck to print something..or not.

The web application button on the screen disappeared last week and the network ports blink orange and yellow on both net and scan ports in the fiery server. when try to connect from PC says "server name or ip address may be invalid" and not printing just makes photo copies. Watch these videos, it’s important you have the correct Cable. If you have the bustled fiery it uses a cat5e crossover Ethernet cable (not a straight patch cable cat5E) between the fiery and the xerox print engine th-cam.com/video/3a2oCg3wUBs/w-d-xo.html
