What makes the Deutz engined B7RLE's sounds so great is the high pitch whine they make and the sound of the air compressor when it kicks in. They sound very much like a dustbin wagon.
We've got 69217 at Doncaster and that makes a right racket, kinda reminds me of a tube train! Especially when I've brought it out of the depot on a cold morning.
@@ThatYorkshireBusDriver no worries Shaun. It good you having a great day. I'm not 100% today but I be ok. The sunny weather is making me feel better. 😄👍🏻🚌🚍
I remember driving this in Southampton, shame she had to go but it looks like shes still an absolute rocket haha this thing along with her sister buses would kill my GreenRoad score
I love driving them with how much grunt they have, 69248 is the best of the 4 we have in my opinion. that's really cool you used to drive them down in Southampton, do you have many more down there? they are a little harsh on the brakes according to some drivers but I don't find them terrible, but I used to driver ex oxford buses at stagecoach and they are borderline dangerous if you're not used to the brakes.
That Yorkshire Bus Driver haha 69248 was a great one indeed yes! I found them to be a bit tough to stop but they were nowhere near as bad as our Citaros were lol not sure if you have 69246 but I remember I needed a change of trousers when the retarder failed on a hill in that one 😅 We still have our 09 plate B7RLE’s till October but from then we’re supposedly going to be a StreetLite only depot! I miss having our Citaros, Tridents and B7TL’s but I managed to save the best bus we had 👌
@@ChromelineGaming 69248 that definitely shifts of the mark, with 69246 its the worst of the bunch with no kickdown and just sluggish but still a nice drive, that's one I've not driven yet is a Citaro. Streetlite only depot I feel sorry for you if that's correct. unless you have some 62 plates lying about ive found them to be the best along with the hybrid type ones.
That Yorkshire Bus Driver the only good thing about 69246 when it was down here is that it had an all over advert for Heart FM so we knew what we’re in for lol but yeah the Citaros are another league of bus, big heavy and loud but the brake pedal is weird as it’s like a car pedal We have 63, 14 and 15 plate StreetLites and I find some of the 14 plates to be ok, with the 15 plates being tractors that do pull fairly well on the hills as they have the Daimler 5.0! But our Volvos are being replaced with 63 plate StreetLite Max buses so we’re not looking forward to that
@@ThatYorkshireBusDriver you're with Harry on that, I'm... alone in 247 😂😂 Had Shaun F on 73 and 114 and he was clipping kerbs on 247 left, right and centre.

Can I ask when running light!!! Do you have interior lights on?

The 36 bus in a nice bus you work for first group do you still remember yorsher tiger Sean
Harley Murray yeah I still see him
Hahahah just got off the 36 route from meadowhall interchange
cool :) what bus did you have onit
I find euro 4 B7RLEs boring but 69245 is a different story
do you? 69248 is %100 better i promise
With London Drivers After 1 Minute Of Terminal, They turn their Lights off
Nobody cares
@@mallan9952 bit harsh, tbh, but i kind of agree
