For anyone that is booking one of these…the biggest differences in these private cabanas are the ones you choose in the park. The location of your cabanas should be closest to where your friends or family will be spending your time in the water park. My family wanted to be close to the toddler play areas for my niece. My suggestion would be to either look at the map of the water park and try to decide which cabana location you want to request before you call for reservations.
This private cabana was sooo useful for my family when we visited Volcano Bay. It rained mid-day just as i knew it would and we had the perfect location to wait out the rain to stop and then continue our day at the park. The menu in the cabana does have some exclusive food items not located in the regular shops.
Love the cabanas here. We had one when we last visited in 2018 and it’s a must do for us now. We’re not going until September but I called a couple of months ago to book the cabana and got it for around $370. The person I spoke to said if you can book early it’s usually much cheaper than closer to the time/ on the day so worth bearing in mind if you already know what your plans will be.
We love Volcano Bay, but the cabanas were not worth the price for us. We had a cabana on the other side (front of the volcano) - it was nice and convenient, but way too pricey for us to make it a regular thing. If you're going to stay at the park all day long and need your own private hangout to drink/eat a lot, it might be worth it. Our Volcano Bay routine now is to take advantage of half-hour early entry for hotel guests, ride the water coaster, ride the big blue slide, share a pizza and have some cocktails at the bar, maybe ride the big tall drop slide, then head out of there (Volcano Bay gets very crowded by 2pm or so). It's an easy walk from there to the Aventura or Cabana Bay - we relax there awhile, go ride Velocicoaster, have dinner at the Palm, have some drinks at the rooftop bar (if staying at Aventura) then call it a day!
Woah! Love that the sign said Kia Ora! If you didn't know, it's a Maori greeting here in New Zealand, amazing that they had that in the US! LOVE IT 😊😊❤️
We were in that very one you showed on the upper level. Gotta admit it is good being able to go back to your own space while your at the park. Expensive, but a nice treat. From your video it looks very sandy or looks as though it could be doing with a clean.
Awesome video Dev. Love the content. We have rent cabanas the last couple of years. I would suggest earlier pre bookings if you know what day you will be there. Our vacations are in the fall and we book when we book the vacation. The prices will vary greatly and you can save hundreds if done sooner.
Private cabanas are pretty much an automatic buy for me everytime I hit up volcano bay. With a 1 year old and a 3 year old, we need a home base for shading and to escape those nasty thunderstorms
I was ready to say I'm going to be up that way in July and want to rent a cabana for my family this vacation is all about water. But when you said the 2 story was $750 my jaw dropped maybe a small one I can swing for my family. But I do not think you mentioned if they give Florida residents any discounts on the cabanas.
Thanks for the video Dev. I wish those cabanas weren't so expensive. I'd love to treat my family with that next week but at least we'll get to enjoy the park anyway!
It looks cool. But it looks runed down. I wish they would add orange glow to the wood to make it shine on the walls and furniture. . The floor could use some work too. The wood looks dehydrated. It makes the cavanas looked busted and rusted like at 03:22. A mop a broom some orage glow. Idk
I watched another review of VB and it said you don’t get to choose your cabana location so given some are right next to the main road and others nicely located to a pool is this reflected in the price On the day? I wouldn’t want to pay same price for road noise 🤷🏻♀️
Drove 2 hrs to Volcano Bay yesterday only to find out they were at capacity when we arrived at 11:30am. Waited till 5pm and still at capacity. Their “waitlist” was a joke. Will need to try to be there much earlier I guess. 😢
Private Cabanas are the best upgrade you can do anywhere - your hotel, a water park, etc. They are GREAT. The Tapu Tapu is a very cool upgrade. No TV? Most of the places have a TV, too.
It typically depends on the time of year you rent them and when you rent them. I rented one in November of 2019 for $250. But I placed the order in September, which saved me money. I definitely will not rent One in the summer or spring break!
Hi everyone could I please ask when would I need to look for a reservation for Disney there's 4 of us going in late September for 2 weeks how many weeks would I want to make the reservation thanks a million in advance love from Ireland 🇮🇪
U should make reservations soon. Some parks like MK and HS fill quickly. coming from your distance, it seems most people do 2 weeks. But that's up to u and ur budget. 8 to 10 days gives u time to do all 4 parks, Disney springs and maybe a water park. Also gives u resort days in between.
These are great thank you for showcasing this I'm really surprised that food and drink is not included that's a premium per day price they should be inclusive! Will you be doing anything on the annual pass anytime soon I'm planning a trip to Orlando to coincide with haunted horror nights and I was told of course it could be a rumor that if you buy an annual pass that you also get one night free at hhn. I wasn't going to include volcano Bay but your Cabana Bay review on top of this and the other cabanas has changed my mind so thank you for that great content by the way! /*
Hi Dev, planning a trip to Orlando in Oct, and wondering is it realistic to get an Uber from Orlando to Tampa for a football game? Would love to go to a game but want to base myself in Orlando! Great videos!!

OMG, I am going there tomorrow!!!! Just cause of you I am staying at Cabana Bay, Bayside Tower!!!!
Man I still haven't been here! I don't really do the water park thing but this looks like so much fun!!! Thanks for the video!!!

I’m sold!! I’ll get the cabana next time I visit. Thank you so much for feature this! You’re the best!!

Excellent! We are returning this summer and I will definitely go the cabana route. With 3 generations, this will be our home base.
Volcano Bay is incredible on so many levels
Thanks for the updates on cabana rentals.
Love the video and glad to see that universal values you!
Great 👍🏻 Video Content !
Hey Dev and Bianca! This is cool, checking out these private cabanas! Pretty neat way of going visiting Volcano Bay!
We were in that very one you showed on the upper level.

Expensive, but a nice treat.
From your video it looks very sandy or looks as though it could be doing with a clean.
Cabana was awesome and so nice when you have kids! Its worth the price imo.
Hi Dev and Bianca, looks amazing, great video as always 😍
VB looks incredible, never been but would love to go!
Be there Monday !
Great Universal Advertisement !
You always do an excellent job on amenities at theme park hotel and now cabana at volcano bay 👍

Price is a bit oof tho
Thank you Dev for these amazing video and all the information for making our vacation much better.
The cabanas are so worth it, especially if you have a big family that can split the cost. ❤

Try to rent one in the offseason. I paid $250 in November. I also booked early. We loved it.
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind 😊
I still need to check out Volcano Bay, I love water parks, but I usually stick to Disney since I love Disney and Typhoon Lagoon is my fav.

I was here yesterday too

The Cabanas last year cost like 275 and now it’s 750+ They really just jacking up the price for no reason smh

@@judiplaz I rented it at the exact same time last year for 275, when I looked at that same time this year that’s when the quoted me the 750+.
It was for may 14th, trip was still fun but no cabana

If you buy a cabana is the park tickets included?
Awesome! Can’t wait to go here soon! I sent you an email Dev!!!
Like you said if people can swing these it would be worth it. Btw have you tried the conch fritters from there?
The private cabanas are a little too pricey , thanks for showing us the cabanas Devin x
Just 3 more weeks and we will be there . Can’t wait , it’s going to be so hot 🥵 lol
When I had the cabana we made our ride Q’s from there and they tell you the wait time .
WE LOVE YOU FROM THE UK DEV!!!

Volcano 🌋 bay is my water park
Kia ora!
The prices are a bit much. Sometimes you get a deal but other times it’s crazy expensive.
I can't for the life of me understand the cost and it doesn't even include any food or drinks (I mean water yes, but not even non alcoholic)😳😳
1st
Our cabana at the Bellagio in Las Vegas was much nicer and had a big screen TV for a cheaper price. Overpriced!
yikes wayyyyy too much $ for me.
