It’s a complete POS process. Needs to be fixed asap! Other states require one step. ONE STEP! Only have to register you business name. That’s it. Arizona is full of bureaucracy. I had submit Articles of Organization 5 times because the they didn’t understand what it looks like from another state. The Article clearly states the business as an operating business. It’s because some jackass in the 50’s thought they were doing some kind of good deed in regulating businesses and turned it into a shit show. Now they can’t undo it because there are too many people/jobs running the ROC.
Thank you so much for sharing! Around time stamp 7:11 there was a statement of building business credit. Will you please provide the link? I apologize if i missed it (i searched in the links provided but was un successful) Thank you in advance

So my question as a Sales rep who travels different states as a 1099 contractor can I use Arizona for LLC even though I live in a different state? Also is it Good for E-Commerce business and CRYPTO>??? Please let me know
In regards to 1099 sales and ecommerce: This is a complex question because each state has unique business entity rules (governing limited liability) and tax regulations. So, depending on where you do business, you might need to file for a foreign LLC and pay income taxes. Some states also charge a sales tax for services. Crypto trading would be best covered by an LLC in your state. You will need an accountant or business attorney to guide you in your 1099 work and e-commerce. Some consultants only take work in certain states-- an accountant or business attorney could help you choose. Best of luck to you, and thanks again for the question. Hello, I would like to open an LLC for my Arizona vacation home but I live in California, can you tell me which state I use to open the LLC, I would like to use the Arizona home state but I’m not sure if that’s correct, thanks
Hi, thanks for the question! This can be a tricky one. If it's a vacation home, and not a business, then you would start the LLC in Arizona. If you are planning to run a vacation rental business in Arizona from California, then you may need an LLC in both states to have liability protection. If it's a rental business, we'd recommend a consultation with a business attorney or CPA. Best of luck to you!

LLC stands for limited liability company. An LLC is a legal business entity type. When a business owner runs a business without forming a legal entity for it, the business is considered the same as the owner. That means if the business is sued or defaults on a debt, the owner's personal property could be in jeopardy. Forming an LLC is a simple way to create a legal barrier between the business and the owner. Before there were LLCs, the only option was to form a corporation. But corporations were complicated to run and didn't have a great tax structure for small business. Hope that helps! Please let me know if you have more questions.

What type of business are you opening? "Any legal purpose" is usually a safe choice.
@HowtostartanllcOfficial thank you for your response! I'm opening a notary business for all my notary gigs and loan signings.

Great! It's smart to add the LLC as a layer of protection. "Any legal purpose" works for notaries.
