Great fly. I’ve had this thought in the back of my mind for a while now. I’m definitely going to miss being in the mid-southern part of Indiana this summer. But I’m sure we will still see some of them up here in Wisconsin. God bless.

The last time we had the hatch here (2011), where I was fishing it didn’t seem to matter what fly you used, the fish didn’t even care if it was a topwater or the matching color. Every tree or bush hanging over the waters edge had schools of fish under them just waiting for something to hit the water. I had a black wooly bugger tied with orange chenille and when I switched to a white and yellow streamer, they still ate it. But I love seeing the patterns folks tie for it, thanks for sharing.

i fished a small hatch once and it was crazy how much action there was. I am really looking forward to this season, i hope it all they say it will be.
