This board is placed inside the feeder and opensorce, it comes with it if you buy the kit
Seems like a very nice install. The controller for this just takes power and a USB to the PC correct? Can I run more than one A04 feeder control board? All plastics are ABS, PLA, or PETG? Is bulk ordering a possibility? I've been waiting on some of these other 'diy' feeder projects but your stuff has clearly worked and I'm getting so fed-up with strip feeders.
I assume larger feeders up to 24mm is just a matter of time of changing the models?
1: The controller requires a 5V DC power supply (the standby current for each feeder is 0.05A) , When the feeder is feeding , it will increase the current by 0.2A.
2: The controller is connected to the PC through a USB cable. Because of the small amount of data, it is possible to connect multiple controllers with hubs to work in parallel. One controller can control 24 feeders, so in general, two controllers are sufficient.
3: ABS, PLA, or PETG can be used to print feeder. We already supply kits in bulk.
4: The most difficult thing to solve is the accuracy of feeder 0402 (8-2mm), and there is no problem at present. For the width of 12mm,16mm,24mm, a redesign of a 3D printed shell is fine.
Bing, i am working on assembling some of these and it is unclear exactly which screws you are using in each step. could you show each one better?
github.com/microsmt/Microsmt-PNP-hardware/blob/main/Bing%20feeder%20%20stl%26stp%20%20202404019.zip ,I have added 2 images in the document, which indicate the model of the screws in each position
She uses stm32f103 which model can provide her pcb and firmware files
Easier to make your own board
Bing I'm trying to build a set of these feeders based on the stl files posted to github at the link above, but the worm gear is missing. Can you update the files to include it?
I have added the drawings of worm, please download it again.
Hello good work, can you share sprocket design file ? I can't find it in github. Thank you.
