Let me tell you, I had a small, family only wedding (about 35 people).....and I would not change ONE thing! Minimal stress, it was very nice because of the few guests, and I got to actually speak to people and enjoy myself.

lol!!! Currently in the planning stages and I’ve definitely removed AT LEAST 50 who previously would have undoubtedly would have been in the first 100. Honestly, 2020 caused me to remove and move around.
@@Future-zx9ts I wish we did that, we had a big wedding and it was like work that night, we got back to the hotel and immediately passed out in our weddings clothes until 3pm the next day..we didn't even get to eat at the wedding! If we could do it again it would be family and VERY close friends

Yes, Melissa!...I had a very similar future vision of myself. It was pencil skirts, brief cases, heels to the sky, NYC, working in some tall glass front building (doing what....I had no clue). And the I visited NYC as an adult and was like "why is everyone so close together on these filthy streets, why does it always smell, where do yall park!?!"
NYC is absolutely the most over-glamorized city. After 4 days, I’m like get me out of here because I need some trees and grass and fresh air (not just in a park), and I need people to get away from me. There is no respite. 😂😂😂😂

My hubby and I married in a court house followed by the full wedding 4months later and the actual wedding was full of so much ridiculousness, I could write a book on it... the only thing I loved was the groom and the dress... I feel like I'm too traumatized to try for a redo... but thank goodness the wedding was not representative of the marriage 😅

Focus on the marriage more and the wedding less the wedding is one day and so many times you find people who put so much energy into the wedding day that they forget to actually prepare and plan for the marriage itself I'm sure Melissa would have been happy going downtown the way she described her wedding day but the good thing is they took time to work on their marriage so she can go back and have the new ceremony people renew their vows and redo their weddings all the time so good point

This was such a great watch, could’ve lasted all day...Felt like we’re all old friends catching up and rehashing memories. I’m trying to plan my June 2021 wedding (trying to and should’ve been done last year sometime but 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️). Angel y’all gave me some ideas tho, ‘preciate’cha. This is a struggle I wouldn’t wish on anyone.
I loooove Angel and Marcus’s story telling and the fact that they really did what they wanted to do and enjoyed their big day. Kev is always kool and seems so easy to please, just give him Liss saying “I do,” a plate of food, a slice of cake and let him hunch her at the end (bc that’s what the Lord wanted for them) and he was good. 🤣🤣🤣 I’m saddened that Melissa didn’t enjoy her wedding...like nothing about it to the point where Kev can’t even share pictures of what he felt was a great day. I respect their relationship tho and the way he loves her...All four of you guys are great! Loves me some y’all.
