OMG, Larry! My comment up above is so true -- I remember unexpectedly seeing you play at the Robert Treat Hotel in Newark when I walked away from a party my law school was holding in 1996. You came up to the glass by the side of the stage and were playing for me and smiling, and I remember a blonde, heavier set woman telling me that was Larry Mitchell playing. I told her how much I loved this album ever since I heard your music during your interview on WSOU. She asked me if I wanted to meet you, and I think I was absolutely shaking by that point! You came out after your set, we talked about a half-hour or so, and you even signed your set list program for me -- which is one of my treasured musical souvenirs! I meant every word I said then, two years ago, and now: your album here is just as good as Tones/Ah Via Musicom and Surfing with the Alien, and I can only pray very hard that you know that you have a true gift from God, and your music is just incredible. I think I am shaking as much right now leaving word for you here as in Newark! God bless, and I will try to look for you if you play up in the NNJ area again!
Question about your guitar pictured in the video: while it initially appears to be a "run-of-the-mill" double-neck, the fret-marker dots on the six-string appear to be distinctly non-standard. Is it a baritone neck, or is it a custom job to mess with people's heads? Great music by the way!
