One thing I remember and impressed about Vista is also our Cruise Director Savannah, she is incredible and so energetic.
Yes 100%- cruise director Savannah was superb! She participated in so many events and was a great at introducing performers as well.
We LOVED Savannah....She was Awesome and SO much fun!!!
I was just on board the Vista back in August 2023 and loved everything about it. Its also one of the only ships in the fleet to have the movie theater onboard which was a nice activity for a port day ( saw gran turismo essentially with the theater open to just myself which was epic)

We`ve been on the Vista a couple of times and we always look at the video`s to plan our agenda. The last time my wife got severely ill and stayed in the infimary 2 days and bed rest 2 more days , so we`re bringing grand kids (25+) on their first cruise so here`s hoping it will be better. Thank you for a great reminder of what we`re looking forward to.

I was on the Destiny when really small and can't really remember. Did the Freedom in 2017 and really fell in love with cruising. Next will probably be the Vista July 2024. I wanted the Panorama, but the dates weren't good and the places this one goes to plus Thrill Theater are worth losing the trampoline park.

fabulous and informative video! I must say I am not pleased that Family Harbor lounge was open to all, the increased price is supposed to cover a "card entrance" only for families that pay extra to stay there. I for one was thinking of reserving it to ensure safety of my kids, but if the lounge is open access that does not match what Carnival says and sort of defeats the purpose. Either way, THANK YOU for this great helpful video!!
Our pleasure- thank you very much for the comment! 😊 The Family Harbor lounge doors certainly weren't open all the time- but about 1/2 the times we passed by the doors were open. I think some of the kids keep the doors open and let their friends in who aren't staying in a Family Harbor cabin.
The entertainment looks fantastic how are the shows? And all the food looks delicious to it’s a very nice shipindeed
The shows were pretty good- nice singing, dancing, & costumes. The theater seat arrangement isn't the best because your views can be blocked by those sitting in front of you. Much of the food was quite good! Thanks for the comment! 🙂
Do they charge extra to go to a movie? I see a $ next to the movie listings. If so that seems ridiculous.
Nope- you can watch the nightly movies at the pool deck for free. You do have to pay extra for the IMAX movies, however.

I think it was $6 for the documentary one about space that we watched, though it was $13 or $14 for the big budget films.

We have always been royal Caribbean sailers but carnival seems to have so much more during the day activities. Am I wrong here? Is carnival better? I’ve always heard the opposite. I’m confused now.
I'd have to say that the overall entertainment on the Royal Caribbean Oasis-class & above ships are hard to beat, but you could be on to something there when it comes to day activities.
I agree, we just got back from allure of the seas and the diving acrobatics and mama Mia etc are tough to beat. However, the shear volume of entertainment on carnival might be more applicable to kids than I’ve been lead to believe. We’re booking a 7 day on Vista now. I also think the food is better on carnival from a free side of things. We alway upgrade to the dining package and never eat much in terms of free food on cruises but from this video, carnival beats windjammer for sure. Could be wrong but doesn’t look like it.
@@Payton77 Well, I don't think the Carnival buffet beats Windjammer, but the combined lunch options of buffet plus Guy's Burgers, Blue Iguana, Mongolian stir-fry, Pasta Bar, & on sea days the Seaday Brunch & Pig & Anchor BBQ would be better than Royal's lunch offerings for sure.

We want to take our 3 kids all under the age of 16. I’m nervous as there are so many decks and rooms etc .. should I be worried or will they have a blast despite my worries if them getting lost etc etc .. any advice would be helpful .
Even though the ship is massive, it's actually easy to navigate with signs posted to show which deck and section (Forward, Mid-Ship & Aft) of the ship you're at. And if they do get lost, there are always crew members around they can ask for directions.

Anytime! Yup no concerns at all- it's super safe as long as the kids don't run, especially on the decks which can be wet.
We went on the Vista in Jan 2020. It was a blast. The cruise director was Swartz he was great!! We are going again April 2023, can’t wait
Is this a good place for singles?
Sure- cruises in general always have events for singles to mingle
What was there to do for kids ages 11 to 15??
Water slides, water park, kid's activities, arcade, imax, table tennis, basketball, fun parties just to mention a few.
How loud is the music shows.. is it like very loud or.. ??
They're loud but not too loud

I just sensitive to loud sounds..
But not when im talking with myself or listen to my music i like.. (big difference.. also it depends how i am at the moments..)
@@gmbh8443 Yeah it should feel like the music you listen in headphones but some what louder, but usually no surprisingly loud sounds.

I have sound isolating headphones - like those you see the singers use to concerts and on the ship.. -.-
I bought them cuz i trusted that they would isolate good for noise and loud music... cuz.. as a musican.. you should protect your ears 😂
