My, oh, my. It looks like the designers of this game found a good hiding place for those remaining 33 gems. I guess no one thought they would be hidden at the back of the starting point.

The gliding with the music is amazing. Every level with gliding is amazing. Gliding is an amazing thing!!! No gliding or flying = Not a SPYRO game. Right??? Skylanders is not a SPYRO game.
I give you something to cry about she was a savage back then I was so fucked I hid in the corner in the dark then she found me and I was so fucked #growinguppuertorican 😂
the thing that's even funnier to me is their slap does absolutely no damage to spyro (unless it knocks you off the map) so you can just get slapped all over the place like a pinball by the two near the level exit XD

0:13. From right here I somehow managed to pierce that gnorc with one of those pyramid designs. Talk about a gore glitch. Haven't been able to do it again though
I played this as a kid and it has always been one of my favorite games. Never had the chance to play it again without buying a console so I never did. Now I'm watching this and I realise how many dragons were left as statues forever... :D And the gems left on the ground...
Thanks for the video! This helped me. I couldn't find the gem spot behind the spawn point. Wasn't interested in viewing the Reignited videos since I'm playing on the PSX

In the Reignited Trilogy version, there's this metal box near the exit, the kind that can't be opened with a headbutt or fire breath. Usually, a cannon would do it, but there aren't any in this level, unless I'm missing something? EDIT: Nevermind, found out how.
Spyro really gonna pull that shit on me? Just spent the last hour tryna figure this out, now I know what the game wants of me, no more TH-cam, promise 👀
i remember how fun this game was...so i bought 1-3 again recently off of amazon. that, plus dawn of dragons and a cd, totaled to $115, adding the total price and shipping together.
Damn it, I've been playing this while psn has been down and I've done everything except check the back of beginning. That's such a messed up place to put them. :/
They should redo the old spyro games. And I also hate that spyro was sold and made into skylanders, what was wrong with the old game? I'll tell you, NOTHING! They just wanted as much money as they could.
Probably my favorite level in the game. Something about the scenery seems so relaxing.

It blew my mind as kid to realise you could GLIDE over there
"Hey, what's on the other side of the river?"
"Why don't you glide over there and find out?"
Game design in a nutshell.
Spyro asks what's on the other side of the river. And Enzo offers the hint about gliding there to find out. Nice conversation exchange between them.

It was the cauldron gems that got me back in the day

2:34-41 What I find amazing is those big things don't hurt you even when they hit you because when they do, Sparx doesn't change color.

3:40 "Why don't you glide there and find out?"...well EXCUUUUUUUUSE ME!
I need play this game again. Its a masterpiece. Like the PS1 itself.
I loved how the big women would slap the lil dudes as motivation to get at spyro 😂
a bit of a stereotypical reference to how mexican mothers discipline their kids x3
AmatsuKona I know I'm Latina I was smacked a lot as a kid come to think of it Lol
Go Away Trollz hehe x3

ahh the good 'ol days of being a kid and playing spyro and crash on rainy days:)
ah good ol' spyro, still a good game, I remember when it came out.
I didn’t realize this as a kid but the music here is a remix of Dark Hollow’s.

(Spyro bonks gnorcs) "Pliii-AOUH!"
Thank you for this. I normally find everything myself but I was missing 3 gems!! I didn't realize the cauldrons gave you some to when you flame them!!
brings back so many good times when i was a kid :-) was my fav level aswell!
And what I mean by redo is improve the graphics and stuff and leave the gameplay and levels the same.
those egg stealing guys always freaked the fuck outta me
Replaying this on the Switch version. Tough game to 100% Especially on the flight levels
Thanks I had everything but those last gems behind the castle because I didn't know where they were
X2
I always watched these abusive wives stir in their cooking pot or tap their spoons in their palms to warn you not to come close before I flame them.

Thank you! I finally found the last gems I needed 💕✨
somehow this level had an itty bitty mexican touch to it. one of those things at 0:13 was wearing a sombrero and a poncho.
That's the theme of the level mexico.
I remember fucking around on maps like this one... the feels!
Cliff town.
planet: earth🌎.
realm: dragon realms🐉.
terrain: desert🏜️.
which level is the one with the music that sounds like Bryan Adam's "Run To You"?
Damn it, I've been playing this while psn has been down and I've done everything except check the back of beginning. That's such a messed up place to put them. :/
fucking hidden ass gems behind the building
Didn't realize you could flame the pots for gems
It looks like you've played, and completed this game many times.
With how the goo looked and the terrain, as a kid I thought this level was made of blueberry cobbler lmao
Can you smell what the Big Bertha's are cooking?! O_o?
Seriously, they're deadly with them wooden spoons!! XP
Why is it that Spyro kinda sounds like Rocko?
your so good at this game like u know where everything is like u have completed the game b4 but i love spyro!!!
Ever looked off at the force field barrier and wonder what could be out there?
They should redo the old spyro games. And I also hate that spyro was sold and made into skylanders, what was wrong with the old game? I'll tell you, NOTHING! They just wanted as much money as they could.
