Oh wow I can't believe you did a Talos 2 speedrun, and a world record at that! Been a subscriber for a while, but I'm also a Talos 2 dev. How do you feel about that exploit that lets you pretty much jump fly everywhere? Is it perhaps too broken, would it be better if we fixed it?
It's not as easy as it looks. it's frame perfect and I can only get it consistently after multiple rebinds and hours of practice as well as a 30 fps cap. 99% of players are not going to encounter this in their playthrough and as a result I don't think it should be patched in my honest opinion. Either way, it's really cool that a Talos dev has been subscribed and I really appreciate your comment.
@@Pr0tal Oh yes ofcourse. I did mean specifically for speed running, if that was something that for you contributes or detracts from the overall speed running experience, but it sounds like you're having fun with it, that it requires significant skill, and that you'd prefer we keep it, so I guess we'll keep it. :) Awesome speedrun btw!
@@mariokotlar303 Yeah there are other categories like NPNL (No Photomode No Launches) and NBS (No Bridge Skips) that forbid the use of photomode glitches.
@@mariokotlar303 There is a glitch that was discovered recently that lets you basically clip through any thin wall if you're alt tabbed at 10 fps using a controller. So far it's the only glitch that has been banned from any% given that it does detract from the speedrun but typically runners are good at regulating what they can and cannot do.
