    Hello guys, one more fact that I would like to share is that there are a lot of settlement Services which are funded by Canadian government in order to support newcomers. For instance, they provide you trainings and even pay for your certifications if you're looking for a job and they also help you writing a good resume and a cover letter. I have moved to BC and have come across various services which are paying me to train from them.
    Before coming here I did not know that there was such provision.
    PS- Nice video 🙂👍🏼

But I've just received a message saying that my profile is not eligible for express entry. All the factors listed for my ineligibility do not apply to me. How should I go about my application now? 1. Do companies ask for all degrees and certification officially to submitted?
    2. Do companies ask for past job's exit letters that has information about Job title/ positions held?

    • @Jashan77114

    • @amitrajoria4548
      @amitrajoria4548 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mostly employers wont ask proof of degree and letters. they do their own background check and employer check based on information provided by you at the time of hiring. this opinion based on my own experience in two major Canadian bank in Ontario.

  • @moooofff
    @moooofff 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks Navjot & Simran.
    I have a misconception of sorts that I wanted to ask about. We are moving to Canada next year and my wife is in a position to have a US job from her existing company. We were told don't take US jobs because it doesn't count towards your Canadian work experience and you'll eventually need to transition so just do it when you move. However the cushion of having no drop in pay is a great support when moving.
    Other than pay, what are the pros and cons of working for US companies while living in Canada on PR. Perhaps if you could get into some details like tax implications in a video which would be very helpful since many folks have tech sector roles etc.
    New format video is great. And you both are always a favourite! Stay blessed.
    Thank you for all the effort you put in helping us.

    • @Potatotalkies
      @Potatotalkies  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Will make a video soon.
      And your friends may be right. If you aren’t paying Canadian taxes, it’s not Canadian work ex and doesnt count towards PR points.
