I have a hole punch just like yours and I love it also. For my envelopes, I’m going to try plastic envelope-style ones this year (not the zip kind, these have an envelope flap with a plastic snap closure). I think the plastic snap would make them too thick to use in a wallet, but I’m just going to use them for sinking funds that I keep at home in a box. I don’t carry cash with me in my wallet-for daily spending out and about I’m a digital spender. I track that spending by categories in a tracker I take with me. Hi there Im thinking about getting this Malden. I need to ask you in your opinion are they good value. I bought one about 7 years ago and it has worn out now but I wonder if these are as good. Im a new subbie Ilove your cash envelopes Im trying to inspire myself for when 2023 new mindset to save. Thankyou
I’ve only had mine for only a while and I also have the Filofax Saffiano Compact. Because I’m a stay at homeschooling Mum I don’t use mine as often and so I don’t put it through a lot of wear and tear. But I think if you were to use it daily as a wallet and have a few cash envelopes to take with you on the go it’s a nice little stylish purse.
I don’t carry this wallet as is. I normally take out the envelopes ring mechanism if I use it as a wallet when I’m out and about. But even with the envelopes is not heavy.

Yes, that paper trimmer is self sharpening. The one I had before that I had to keep replacing the blades as I cut so much paper.

What GSM paper do you print your envelopes on?
Either 120 or 160gsm. The thicker the better especially if you are using it lots … putting money in and out.
