Love this idea! I can't get over how expensive these wraps are, and I knew there was a DIY out there. Do you know the material you bought for this?

So cute. I just cut a peice of fabric and wrapped my sleeping grandson in it today. He’s 16 months old and he was fine and I could finish cooking. Awesome

I Love how easy this th-cam.com/users/postUgkxvAj3godqGAIP5rApM1laH767JGtPG1-h carrier is to adjust from my friend to me taking turns holding the baby! It provides great support on my back too! This has definitely made shopping easier! I always get asked where I get it too!

    Hi!
    Greetings from Bulgaria!
We got a baby girl, 3 days old❤️ And I think she needs like a few more days to get stronger, but just took a look on those slings online, and the prices shocked me.
So, this video was the first one I've hit and I love it. Just great! Congratulations!

I love how you just wung this on film haha. Thank you, I will be doing this for my upcoming baby. Went to by a Soly wrap and my jaw dropped at the price and I thought....can I just buy a piece of fabric and cut it to size? Glad you filmed yourself doing it for the first time and having it work. Ill probably hem mine.

I certainly needed this video, I'm not about to spend $50 on a piece of fabric, especially since I'm in the fashion industry, I love saving on anything fabric related 😂

Samee, when I saw the price OMG I was shocked 😅 and it's literally just a viscose knit fabric cut in half with stitches... A rip off 😅

Does this fabric fray since it isn’t hemmed? I’m looking into making this ❤️

    • @janeyvlogs8446

No, since it the stretchable spandex fabric it does not stray, and I already washed it and look good still ☺️

I'm super curious how much that fabric cost for 5 yards?
I sew & buy fabric all the time & typically the stretchy fabric like that. Is this Stretch cotton poplin? Or like a stretch chiffon? Anyway, basically all breathable stretch fabric cost a pretty penny.
A lot of times, I won't even buy it from a fabric store, I'll just buy like a sheet or a curtain (if it's the fabric I'm looking for)
So yeah, super curious what the cost was.
Especially compared to already made wraps (which I recently bought) I know some are ridiculously expensive (for no reason) but I bought 1 for $20 & it's just like any other one tgats just straight fabric

WE (in the West) got the idea from women in India and other countries who have been supporting babies with fabric for thousands of years. Once you understand the basic knots, it can be rearranged to accommodate many different positions for baby's comfort.
