I like that new Tory advert. Finally we see the Tory’s true colours and they give people a visual idea of what the future looks like under a Tory government if they win and withdraw the UK from the European Court of Human Rights. It is something only the ball carrier can do. Why do you do it? Usually because one of your mates has caused an obstruction, and if you take advantage of it by carrying on, there will be a penalty against your side. So you just stop, don't take advantage, so don't get penalised.
Here we see Sunak, who is still the ball carrier for a few more days, taking a surrender with this tripe. No point in carrying on, it'll only lead to worse problems.

@@richardmerriman4347 I'm open to correction by someone who knows the area better, but my understanding is that it's not so much "working class fools" who have made the difference in Hartlepool, but middle class incomers in search of cheaper house prices, especially compared with Durham. The place is what estate agents would call "up and coming" but I view as going to the dogs (and the coffee shops).

I am retired and I have been paying tax on my pension for some time. I am proud to pay it because a lot of other people can’t even earn enough to reach the tax threshold. I can only imagine how they have to live. Get them, and him, out!
