      Nice video, thanks for the information but I have a question, why park mode? Isn't it better beach mode? By the way, what's the air supplier?

    • @Alex_Anders
      @Alex_Anders  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@24Jhoanm Thanks😊 Im just more used to parkmode. Its the mode I use on land and I recognize the tones better in this mode. I have tried the other modes but keep ending up on parkmode. The airsupply you see is Nemo by blu3. Next video, coming soon, you will see more of how I use it😊👍🏻

      Fridykk nobody is asking you how long can you stay underwater with the simplex + because somebody tell me I can only stay underwater for 20 minutes in I need to get out and for in other 20 minutes stay outside in go back in is that true.

      @@JoseAguirre-ol7me I have never read anywhere that simplex has limited time underwater. So for my part, I have never thought about this and had it under water as long as I have been out. Everything from 1 hour to 2 hours in a row. It has gone just fine. I have had mine underwater this way over 20 times.

      Thank you so much!🤗 That silverring gave me goosebumps. You just never expect when they turn up I guess. Took me by suprice. Very cool find for me! This was after a time with alot of wind. This ring was just lying on top of the bottom where it was only 1m depth. The wildlife is a great bonus detecting underwater🦀🐚🐟🤙

    I really enjoy your videos! How deep can you detect an average coin in the salt water? Have you compared the Simplex with an Equinox or other multi frequency machines?

    • @Alex_Anders
      @Alex_Anders  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most of the times I find my coins between 5-10cm where I dig. Deepest I go will probably be around 15-20cm. Underwater things gets a little bit more challinging so I usely dont dig that deep. After heavy wind things often end up between 1-2m. But with the new update from Simplex it can go even deeper from what it originaly does. Never compaird detectors. Only got my Simplex. But I am thinking about getting the minelab excalibur II. Thanks for the support😊👍🏻

    Great Video Mate...how so you use the Garrett Headphones with the simplex?! Are they compatible?

    • @Alex_Anders
      @Alex_Anders  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Detectarius😊 I got them modified by the guys at my local musicshop. I am a member of the Nokta/Makro group on facebook and I saw many different complainins about the underwater simplex headphones. So I desided to just by Garrett and redesign those with some help. I did put out a video on how they fixed it on the facebookgroup.

      Thanks mate😁👍🏻 About the Simplex underwater my impressian is that it depens on the ground your on. Sometimes its much chattering. Sometimes nothing at all. I find alot of stuff. Silver, coins etc. So it works great. Its like your on land pretty much. For the NemobyBlu3 I haven't got to use to much. Im waiting for summer because I dont want to use to much lead on my belt(7mm suit, socks&gloves) In summer I use 3mm, or 5mm. Dont need to much lead. But its works great. VERY easy to handle. Very ligth. I got it from my local store. No problems so far (used it 5/6 times). Works just fine. Never got out of power yet. We are going to use it more soon😁😁

    Hey, does the Simplex have any struggles with rust? I already use it in the field and would like to search in salt water but I am concerned about ruining ist😅

    • @Alex_Anders
      @Alex_Anders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have had my simplex under 20 times about in salt water. After the trip I have rinsed it in fresh water. In addition, I have taped the plugs, with a fairly tough tape, so I give them a little extra protection. But so far I have not seen any rust or any signs of rust from salt. Nokta Makro guarantees that it can withstand water.

      Thanks🙏😊 Yes, sometimes I do. Its very practical around docks and divingboards. NemobyBlu3 is very easy to go and use👍🏻 Its a summerthing in thin suit I think. Winterthick suit acquires to much lead.

    Are you using headphones? I just ordered one of these "like new" from Amazon and im not sure how to do what you're doing.
    Meaning im not sure if it comes with headphones or not. Thanks buddy!

    • @Alex_Anders
      @Alex_Anders  ปีที่แล้ว

      yes, I don't use the original headphones that come with the simplex. Bought another pair on which a simplex transition was soldered. That's because at the start many people complained about the low sound in the model from simplex. But it should be fixed now. I think they changed it so the sound is good.

    • @Alex_Anders
      @Alex_Anders  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hola. Buena pregunta. Yo también me pregunté lo mismo la primera vez. Pero el fabricante dice que es resistente al agua hasta 3 metros. Entonces no necesito tomar ninguna medida adicional. Además, pensando en toda el agua salada que entra en el altavoz, se vuelve difícil enjuagar adecuadamente con agua dulce después. Estaba preocupado. Pero después no ha habido ningún problema. He enjuagado el detector lo mejor que he podido después de usarlo en agua salada. Funciona como de costumbre después de mucho uso en el agua.

    can you extend the simplex's rod underwater?

    • @Alex_Anders
      @Alex_Anders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, it can be very short or very long. And its perfect adapted for snorkeling. But! Vacuum and dirt inside the rod can sometimes make it a little bit challenging to adapt while detecting. Make sure to clean the inside after each time. Than it will go smooth👌
