Great video, total respect in riding it with loaded fat bikes. I rode the route yesterday without luggage and found it tough enough. Keep up the good work.
Thanks again for another great video. Where can you get better scenery ! On my first visit to FW I went out for a walk near Corpach in the forest. After a few hours I was feeling weary and made my way back to FW. Walking down a forest road a little old lady stopped in her car & offered me a lift. I thanked her profusely and told her that would never happen in South London where I lived. She just laughed & said I just saw a man who clearly needed a lift. Loved Scotland for that and many other reasons since.
Aww, absolutely fantastic guys. Those fat bikes are awesome. Those darn midges, its the only reason we don't go to Scotland in summer. Love the talking every now and then too 😉x
Hi Dave, Hi Lisa, just a fabulous video again, what a cracking ride and amazing scenery, loved it. Thank you so much for sharing your adventure as always. Cheers Dave.
A++++. A beautifully shot and edited video. Great atmospheric music as well. The only drawback to doing this ride I can see is the midge. I had to retreat from Skye in 2014 as they were so bad. I was bitten in places I didn't even know I had through 5 layers of cycle clothing and a Goretex cycling jacket. It was the stuff of nightmares. I vowed never again.

Brilliant, didn't know about this so going to do it. Came back from Rum a over a week ago and did the route between Kinlock and harris bay ...vid out soon. Cheers guys 👍👍🍻🍻🥂
Another great trip! We hiked from the BN carpark up to Dun Deardail when we visited Scotland in 2019. Amazing to think there was a settlement up there.
That was brilliant guys, thoroughly enjoyed that. Think I'll have a bash at that some time too, although I may reverse it to avoid having to shove the bike up that steep rough section. Many thanks again for sharing, best wishes, Davie.
Hi Davie, Thanks for watching buddy. I suspect the reverse would be just as challenging. Either way I’m sure you’ll really enjoy it. All the best for now. D&L 😊👍
A great video, appreciate your efforts filming it all . I’ve done the first few miles and the last 10 miles of your trip , I must do the tough bit in the middle sometime !
Nice route with some tough hike-a-bike. Well done. Would be nice if you could put up a map of your route at the beginning of the video. It took me a while to get my bearings. 🤣
Probably your best vlog to date (apart from the epic aurora camp) Really slick editing and the drone footage adds a different dimension to the viewing. Looks a tough route and I bet you were glad to get to that track at 19:00. ATB

Thanks V. much Pritch. It’s a known route I believe. There’s a race each year of the same name. The route is on OS Maps and I’m you’ll find it somewhere on Strava. Hard route to race I’d imagine. 😊👍
Another cracking video. It’s been on my list to do for a couple of years and planning on doing it in September with my son and hopefully staying in the bothy. Can you overnight park at the Braveheart car park? Online it says you can’t.
Thank you. 😊🙏 We parked overnight and then paid for the second day on the app once we got a signal. There are plenty people parking overnight. You could park in the side of the road. Have a good trip with your son. 😊👍
Absolutely stunning. It must be a real pleasure for you both to love cycling and exploring, not many couples have the same passion for such adventures. The footage is amazing, great editing skills, Some people don't realise the time it takes to film while riding and edit once back to base. One question I have is how do you decide what to film and what not when you're surrounded by such beautiful scenery?
Hi, thank you for watching and for your kind comments! 😁🙏 Yes we’re fortunate that we can both share these experiences. The filming does take a bit of extra effort but we really try not to let it get in the way of enjoying the adventure. Yeah, there’s lots to point the camera at. That’s probably one of the hardest thing’s about editing, choosing what not to include! 😁🙏👍
Hi Jimbo, in general, midge season is between mid May- end Sept - ish. These days, who knows though. So long as you’ve a little breeze they won’t bother you. 😁👍

That traffic jam reminded me of my commute into Newcastle....well apart from it being the beauty of Glencoe rather than Gateshead ! Where you camped, I take it you've heard the extraordinary paranormal story of Luibeilt ? I think this somehow tops some of your other amazing videos. The way your amazing drone footage compliments your camera work is second to none, particularly the section between 06:00 & 07:00. Simply stunning guys, thank you.
Hey Michael, the traffic jam wasn’t like any other lol 😂 I’m just hearing the ruins are haunted… going to search out some info on them. 😊 Quite pleased with how this one has came together. Thank you for messaging. 😊🙏

Hi John, The rocks were mega slippy and we couldn’t afford to have any injuries in such a remote location. The thing with the fat bikes is that they float and can take off in moving water. Can be tricky recovering the situation if they go. MrsO was happy to do it herself though! Easier and safer if I helped..
What A grand time you had, I loved seeing the camera retrieval, which is a necessary part of any good vlog, but not often seen. That is an amazing loop and for you both being able to do the bike camping, that is special. Thanks for sharing ATB Big Dave Scotland
Hi David, Glad you enjoyed it! It was pretty hard going at times but worth the effort. The camera retrieval is almost a standing job… it looks like it’s only every Lisa that gets it. Normally it’s me though. 😊👍😁
Did the race a few times. I prefer the route through the town but the road climb after is a real killer. Both your river crossings can be ridden, although you have to go downstream a little bit from where you camped. They were very low! Did you know the ruined bothy you camped by is famous for being haunted? You're braver than me camping by it, it always feels "wrong" to me. Another great film, thanks for sharing.
Hi Pete, I’m just hearing the ruins are haunted… going to search out some info on them. We didn’t hear or see anything… mind you a train could have gone past and we’d have slept right through it. Thanks for watching mate.😊
