Honestly, the more I learn about Death Egg the more I like it, despite the awful first impression. More than maybe any other track, it’s one that you can absolutely destroy with enough skill, and it just feels so good. I mean, just look at the hardest AI coming in at minimum 2 minutes behind. (The alternate music being an unbelievable jam definitely helps, also.)

The only reason I found out that they kept that counter is reading an unlock condition for one of the characters.
