100% agree with the poor wolf dogs being in a weird limbo because they can't be released or live as a pet. It's why mixed breed dogs aren't really the best thing. Yeah, the chance of bad genetic problems may be lower, but people mix herding dogs with retrieval dogs or hunting dogs and so on. And don't even get me started on doodles. The poor dogs have conflicting instinctive behaviours since we've selectively bred then for so long for very specific behaviours, and those behaviours sometimes doesn't mix well and results in a dog that can't regulate its emotions properly. And I'm assuming that's what these poor puppers will experience. They have the wild instincts of a wolf but then also domestic behaviour
