Wondering if can you do crowd scanning with the Laser Engine Skylos moving head? With its massive beam or star Gobo scattered effect but pointed at the audience? That wouldn’t affect eyesight of the crowd right since this is a moving head light and not the traditional fixed box high powered lasers? 🤔
Hi, just like any other moving light, if you keep the safety distance, crowd scanning with Skylos is allowed (more info about distance on the official user manual). In addition you can set a safe operating area if required/needed. Don't forget that in the USA a variance is needed for operating Skylos fixture, or eventually opting for "Skylos NV" model, which doesn't require a variance at all. Thank you so much. Will definitely look at more info about safe distances on the official user manual. It’s great that crowd scanning is allowed ❤😊 More power to Clay Paky innovations, let’s go! Cant wait for what Clay Paky has in store next. 🎉🙏😀
After many many years of very expensive research with an amazing amount of people and lights and air crafts and tests it turned out that planes didn't have windows on the underside, so there wasn't a problem.
@@meta_username Yeah airplanes all roll over our countries. Especially the A380 is well known to suddenly do this. Indeed, then the pilot could be blinded while being upside down. *sarcasm off* People think I am joking but there has been an investigation like that. I have been selling sky beams myself for 25 years. I do know what I am talking about.
I gotta say, having seen this in a shootout with Proteus Hybrid, Maximus, and Brutus- the output really pales in comparison. Add to that the unique challenges of servicing the source as opposed to a standard HID/HPL source, and I'd say this isn't going to be as good a choice as you'd think. Not horrible, but not great either.
Wow, this takes us back to the legendary era of the Skyrose in the '90s.
Great name, fits nicely in the lineup.
The stealthy shirt is also quite nice.
Interesting to see that even Claypaky is using Seetronic now.
Hi. Is it impossible to keep dust away from the lense? I see a lot of specs of dust in the video. Is it just outside the lens/glas? :)
