The translators obviously took a lot of liberty when translating jokes. The most dumb example of this is them translating "tsukkomi" (a comedy routine) to meme I still don't get why they didn't translate it to skit.

Tungsten is, in fact, the strongest element metal in terms of tensile strength; its resistance to stretching/warping when under stress. And why not just cut to the chase and use Xenon arc lamps?

God I wish we had more of the heavier metallic elements so we could test alloying on the transition and rare earth sets more thoroughly. Alas we'll have to wait for asteroid mining for access to a sufficient amount without strip mining the entire crust or somehow dredging material from the mantle/outer core (that last theoretical solution is horrifically dangerous just look up hotspot volcanism).

The villager's ancestors moved from where byakuya and his team were to a rural area that was near Senku and was also filled with the neccessary materials to survive and thrive. Plus, there is a possibility that some of those materials were found there due to shifting of the Earth's crust like Senku said and the destruction of multiple facilities that probably housed many valuable substances. It was somewhat explained throughly in the manga but I forgot the finer details

It's not really bamboo filament. It's a steam roasted bamboo, which is basically carbon. And carbon has even higher melting temperature than tungsten.
