I am a 62-year-old woman who knows all her songs and I never believed that this song would be better sung by someone else than Barbra Streisand sang it. I have known you for a few years, about 3 and in my soul I feel that you are her successor. I saw the original show 40 years ago, walked out of the 46th Street Theater and told my friend that Barbra Streisand should have recorded the song immediately. Sadly it didn't happen til decades later.
