- Bill Grede created the Grede Eagle Awards over 40 years ago, and we’re proud to keep the tradition alive. Our internal recognition program, the Grede Eagle Awards, rewards the top-performing plants and account executives for soaring above the competition.
We chose the eagle because it represents strength, independence, and soaring above the competition. When we saw that today is National Eagle Day, we couldn’t resist!
