Agree 100%. Russia has realized that they are not fighting Ukraine any more. They are fighting NATO. This is the reason we see much greater effort and numbers of troops being sent. This is an undeclared war with NATO and what we see now on the battlefield is how Russia planned to fight a war with NATO. We are all in great danger. The good thing is most of us will be sleeping in bed dreaming of a nice place when the birds take flight.

Here is something rich for you. The Ukraine wants nato troupes but here in Canada we welcomed all kinds of fighting age men and women that wont help protect thier country. Go figure. And if we ever need these cowards to help protect Canada they will never help here either.
As a fellow Canadian let me enlighten you. Our military is shitty. decades ago I applied to join E.W.S fresh out of one of the top universities. I was subjected to the most invasive scrutiny from handing in my medical files to my university transcript. Then I waited to hear from them. After 8 months of difficulty reaching the recruiter, I got a hold of him finally. Asked him what is going on. He says to me he can't find my file and he will get back to me. After 2 more months I phone him again because I haven't heard from him. He says to me he will call me in 2days. Finally he calls and says, I have your file here, you are missing your high-school transcript. I was flabbergasted! I told him I graduated from University, and sent him my transcript, getting a high-school transcript will take another 4months since high-schools don't store them on location. I asked him why is that important when University transcript is adequate, since it implies I had to have graduated from high-school. He replies: we need to know if you are a Canadian citizen. I told him they have my notarized Canadian citizenship certificate on file and I don't understand this run around. During that phone call I told him I am ashamed that they call themselves CAF, thay are disorganized and undisciplined. Told him keep my files as I know you will, but don't you ever call me or draft me if ever you need war. I wasted 1year if my life from starting a career, just incase I was called up and had to drop everything. So don't blame the citizens, there were probably many like me who got frustrated and gave up. I knew then one day the chickens will come home to roost, now their stupidity has caught up with them. They are a national disgrace and embrassment.
Read up on this quack Peter Kusnik , he is a professor at American University. He loves conspiracy theories and he loves film director Oliver Stone and Oliver Stone thinks Putin is great. His students say he talks about Oliver Stone all the time and he teaches history. They say Oliver Stone is a close friend of his and Stone adores Putin. Google it and Kuznik is on rate my professor web site. Many say he knows a lot but did these students every fact check what "he knows?"

What is the cause for the invasion/war in Ukraine?
Okay, It's a bit complicated. First, to simplify, let's see what are the causes.
Denazification? This was one reason provided by Putin which most know to be false. Zelensky is Jewish and was elected in 2019 vs Poroshenko, next runner up. Nationalism and Nazism are not the same thing! The Nationalist party, one political party of many in Ukraine, and seen as right wing, only won about 2% of the vote. So this means there is no Nazi party ruling Ukraine either.
Demilitarization. Putin stated this as a goal in the invasion. There are now more weapons in possession of the Ukrainian Armed Forces than any other time in history.
Remove Ukraine as a threat to Russian security? Ukraine gained it's independence in 1991 and with it inherited 1/3 of the entire Soviet Nuclear Arsenal (missiles, bombers, etc). By 1994 an agreement had been reached between Russia and Ukraine, through UK and USA for Ukraine to destroy it's Nuclear missiles, and weapons in exchange for a guarantee of security. Ukraine was a threat to Russia before 1994, not after. This agreement was also broken by Putin.
Putin claims he invaded to save the Russian speaking people of South Eastern Ukraine. He did the same thing about Crimea, but instead of giving it it's independence, he annexed it. Hitler used the same tactic in 1936 vs Czechoslovakia and the region of Sudetenland. As in Crimea, the Czechs appeased Hitler. They did not put up a fight but later, Hitler still invaded the rest of the country. Putin invaded the heart of Ukraine, Crimea and the Donbas regions. To this day, any who can evacuate the region, run to the Ukrainians side, not the Russians if possible.
He liberates nothing.
He claims he supports independence for the separatists in Donbas. Most those "separatists" are actually infiltrated Russian soldiers incognito. This also happened in Crimea, where soldiers were seen without identification.😊
