Engelbert is so admirable. He's such a modest, gentle man, and yet he always seems to find marvelous ways to stick it to people who irritate him. Of course, his way is more effective than yelling and throwing a tantrum, besides being so much more dignified. He's just wonderful. I love the stories he tells. Flashback Friday is a great idea!

He is the nicest person ever-I too can listen to him speak all day-I feel like I know him after listening to so many interviews here on TH-cam-I had the privilege of seeing him in concert many times-my very favorite voice is Engelberts and my second favorite is David Pack, the original lead singer of Ambrosia-no one will ever take Engelberts place

Dear Sir Englebert: I love listening to your life experiences. It makes my day. My. Uncle Dilas used to play golf before he had his third and fatal stroke. We lost 2 great entertainers last week: Van Halen and Helen Reddy. I hope you will be around for a long time. You remind me so much of my Uncle Dilas

Hi Engelbert. Love the story about Cheb. That animal knew what he was doing by stealing from the mighty Beatles. Nice compliment to your daughter Louise about her being a great little swimmer and being compared to the great Esther Williams. In the end Engelbert, you did kind of stick it the the snobbish golf course because I bet all the following administrations were sorry that they did not accept you as a member. By the way, what's taking so long - it is about time to call you Sir E.H. Stay healthy, love you and bye for now.

Good Friday Enge you are like a walking library with all of your wonderful stories. I love dogs they can tell when someone doesn't like them. It doesn't surprise me that Louise has that kind of drive to learn to swim. Look at her dad the mountains he's climed in his lifetime.
