Hi there, i am a new subscriber from central Oklahoma and i have the Brooks bevelers myself. I use them alot for some extra depth after using the Barry King extra steep.
It’s just two pieces of leather sewn together and filled with metal BB’s. I use it as a weight to prevent the piece I’m working on from sliding around, or in some instances folding up on one side.
They no longer make leather tools acording to the web site.
Oh wow, I just noticed that too! That’s unfortunate. I just recently discovered them when I bought these tools.
Good thing you bought them when you did. They’re no longer offering stamps. They’re concentrating on their other products.
I believe they made that decision about a week after I uploaded this video too lol! Bruce Johnson may carry a few but I’m not certain on that.
great review thanks for sharing and congrats on the Albatross, 3 under par is a stunning bit of game play
I really appreciate that!
They make nice tools. I bought some of their 'fiberglass' back grounding tools and they are awesome.

I’m really enjoying them, I will definitely be buying some more of his tools in the future!
Which ones do you use of the Brooks?
Look like great quality
I hadn’t heard of Brooks until recently but they are great tools for sure!
What kind of Barry King bevelers you use in your work? What kind of them you show in this video?
I primarily use the XX Steep Checkered bevelers from Barry King
I need some of them pro vs
One for me, one for you. The other is going in my collection lol
Can you explain the bag you place on your tooling piece?

@ awesome! Thanks for the reply. Definitely going to be making this for myself.
Good job!
Thank you!
Where do you buy them
The company recently stopped making them, unfortunately. Bruce Johnson may carry some on his website but I’m not sure.
I’ve been looking at getting some Brooks. What sizes did you get?
I should have mentioned that! These are sizes 1, 2, and 3
@@Girtyleatherco Thanks!!
Well, that's unfortunate. 'We're no longer making leather stamps."
Keep an eye out for them on Bruce Johnson's website.
What is your chisel numbering?
