The thing that the channel owner and Americans in general might not be aware of regarding crisps in the UK, is that you can buy a single standard size bag or packet for around £1, a single larger size for around £1.50 or a multipack of six standard size for around £2 and that way, the six standard size ones you get in the multipack work out per bag to be much cheaper than just buying a single standard size.
@@Tidybitz OK fair enough and perhaps I should not have used the term standard size for an individual bag in a multipack, but I suppose I was just trying to distinguish it from the larger size 'sharing' size bag that are even larger than the standard size bags.. We fed our puppy Weetabix, with milk for breakfast as he came home to us, and we kept feeding him as he grew. Flashing amber lights are used at pedestrian crossings, and a driver may continue before the green, provided you are not going to mow anyone down! As for Christmas crackers, they always contain a paper 'crown' so that everyone can look suitably daft wearing one...
We drive up the M6 regularly. Every time we do I comment that we should go to “Shugborough” which I believe is a stately home. This is based purely on the brown sign on the motorway. I was driving back without my family a few months back and decided, as a man in my 40s with an hour or two to kill, to come off the M6 and go and see Shugborough. Well worth the trip, I recommend it.
Doors are more robust in Europe and have to A comply with safety, B fire , a door must hold a fire back for 10/15 mins depending on grade. Enabling you to get out… plus our houses apartments (condos)are not made of wood.
I live in UK not only my doors have that system but my windows down stairs too, I have to bolts on the lock two up and two down plus one at the top and one at the bottom going across too, thats just how they sell front and backdoors here now
If like to add the style of locks to the UK wins. Almost all doors are composite with metal interiors and multipoint locking systems, which is probably the security aspect this lady is taking about. But in addition the locks themselves are harder to pick as they tend to have much smaller keyways and often oddly shaped keyways making it harder to insert a pick or rake.
My front and back doors have a 5 bolt lock system that all lock at the same time with the key. And also have 2 steal bars running through inside them. They are very strong.
I use two duvets in the winter. I have never come across the double duvets with clips. Using two in one cover does have them move to much. My answer, cable clip the corners together.
Weetabix was what I had everyday before going to school. Now there are different flavours and sizes. I would stay clear of the bite size as they have a tendency to rip your mouth to shreds until they soften with the milk. Xmas crackers are a must during Xmas dinner. Generally you pull them before you start to eat. You take the paper crown which is often either too big or too small and put it on, tell the joke you get which is very often terrible, along the lines of (what do you call a dear with no eyes. No idea). Then you have your little plastic toy which never seems to get played with.
The brown road signs are not just in the UK but also in the rest of Europe. The Duvets she spoke of can also be found in the rest of Europe. The front doors are not only in the UK sturdier but also in the rest of Europe. The scooters she spoke of can also be found in the rest of Europe, some are motorised but originaly you step with your foot to get forward.
The best one is a bike, without pedals! Good for balance. Our son didnt need any help with a bike. He just went direct! Wooo how he biked fast instantly!
Scooters for young children are so handy especially for the school run. Walking they moan, dawdle…it’s hard work. But they love scooters. You just got to make sure you can keep up with them. lol. Game changer
Wow 😮 il just limit myself to the 1 box make sure there’s plenty for everyone else 😂 …. Seriously tho £1000 for basic novelty items I just wish I had that kind of money 😢
As well as being sturdier, when locking my doors the lock triggers bolts from the top, bottom and sides into the door frame making them harder to break into.
Christmas crackers can be cheap with little trinkets inside to the luxury ones which will have more expensive gifts inside, always with jokes and paper crown hats inside. Decorative for the table and fun too. The crisp bags we have can be bought individually or , in large bags of 6/10/12/ 18/24 and even more. They can be the same flavour or different flavours which pleases everyone. The large bags are also available. But don’t tend to be as large as the US versions. In the UK we walk a lot more. You will see parents walking their children to school, with the children on their scooters which are taken home and brought back for home time.
The thing with our traffic lights too is that we get told to turn off the engine while stopped at lights instead of foot on brakes to stop extra pollution so the Amber is more like "Engine back on and ready light" 😂
British doors (UPVC type) are very secure compared to American doors. When you lift the handle up, at the top middle and bottom of the door hook bolts and deadbolts engage into the door frame to spread the load when under attack. An interesting fact about them is that not even the police can break into them using their battering ram. The police have been known to spend over an hour trying to bash them open without success. Now their method of attack is to use a petrol disc saw usually used to slice through concrete to split the door from top to bottom. Before using the saw they used to snap the lock cylinder to gain entry but since the new locks are break secure they had to resort to using the saw. Still takes a good few minutes to get in though. American doors, all you need to do is kick it and the frame which is usually made from a soft wood gives in no matter how good the lock is. For most of the homes, they use hollow doors which isn't very strong at all which is why they are so lightweight. The locks are also quite weak in almost every area unless you get a really good one like an ANSI Grade lock. I've never seen an American house have an ANSI Grade lock. They are all Deadbolt type with a secondary latch to keep the door closed. I'm not saying American locks are crap but Americans choose to have cheap locks over the quality ones that are available and that mindset needs to change. To compliment the good locks. Change the door to a solid wood door and frame.
Micro scooters are the best, we walk to school here and can be quite far so it’s easier for the kids to scoot and they keep up better. They last so well, after 4 kids I have 9 left in my garden ready to donate to the school for other kids that don’t have one 😊
I would argue the amber light before it changing to green saves fuel in massive quantities too. If you're approaching the light, and it turns amber you know you can maintain speed or even speed up depending on distance to the light and whether or not anyone is crossing. As opposed to having no warning, continuing to break and then having to speed back up to the speed you were already at.
Weetabix is now owned by an American company called Post. I was brought up with weetabix, cold milk in the summer and hot milk in winter, soft brown sugar being an occasional treat to make it taste slightly caramelly. I have also worked at Weetabix, the standards are very High.
We stole the brown signs from the French in the 80's 😂 the reason they are brown with white text is because white lettering stands out better on a dark background especially in the dark
They are actually a standard colour from the Vienna Convention on Road Signs and Signals. 71 countries are part of this agreement, so the brown signs are very prolific.
I've never eaten Weetabix in my life (I'm 51). But my 81 year old father has had it for breakfast every single day of my own life at the very least 😅 moreover he now has Parkinson's and really struggles with food - he says his Weetabix every morning is the ONLY meal he looks forward to and enjoys eating. So there's that 👍
There are differently priced, depending on your budget, the more you pay for them, the more exspensive the gift inside, & there's like 6 diffrent ranges.

Weetabix is so versatile. It’s just wheat. Nothing added apart from vitamins, iron and folic acid. No nasties in it. It’s great with hot milk, cold milk, yogurt, fruit, it can be baked into cakes and best of all babies can be weaned on it. Both my boys (now 35 & 30 ) were both weaned on weetabix. There was no worry about them consuming something bad as it’s all good.
Having driven in the UK for 50 years and during the last few years driven in the states i can categorically say that our traffic lights are superior with the amber light. Her points are well made on this.
I used to give my kids Weetabix for breakfast as there’s less additives and sugar. You can enhance the flavour with sliced banana and other fruit or just have it with milk
Weetabix is a breakfast cereal. I like to sprinkle on a little sugar and enough milk to soak each one. Some people eat them with hot milk others with Yogurt and Fruit. It's you choice. They are made from whole wheat shredded then compressed into an oblong shape, fortified with vitamins, they carry the Healthy Heart symbol. Most UK cereals are made from Wheat, Bran or puffed rice. The exception is porridge which is Oats which again is a healthy breakfast, US oatmeal is similar but not as good for you as it contains sugar, fat and a preservative called BHT which is banned in the UK.

Try to imagine a family sized bag of chips but the chips inside the bag are individually packaged as one portion. So you have the large bag in your house you guide to your cupboard to take out a small bag and put it in your lunch box. . Simple easy quick.
Weetabix, dry, are normally served as two "biscuits" and are low fat, high fibre, highish protien (4.5g when you have 2) plus a load of B vitimins. They are very plain taste wise by design. You add taste with milk, fruit, honey, sugar or whatever you want to them, using the bicuits as a base rather than the main source of flavour. If you're unwell and just want plain food then you might have them with just some milk.

How much is an oz?
Weetabix with warm milk and honey with fresh fruit like blueberries
I use two duvets in the winter. I have never come across the double duvets with clips. Using two in one cover does have them move to much. My answer, cable clip the corners together.
I saw an amazing duvet cover in Canada,, had ties on the corners so it didnt ruck up, genius
What do you call a deer with no eyes or legs?
Still no idea 👌
The brown road signs are not just in the UK but also in the rest of Europe.
The Duvets she spoke of can also be found in the rest of Europe.
The front doors are not only in the UK sturdier but also in the rest of Europe.
The scooters she spoke of can also be found in the rest of Europe, some are motorised but originaly you step with your foot to get forward.
My grandkids love weetabix. Cold milk and sugar coated.
The best one is a bike, without pedals! Good for balance. Our son didnt need any help with a bike. He just went direct! Wooo how he biked fast instantly!
zip bag is a sandwich bag and a handled one is a freezer bag for portioning meats and veg and things
Scooters for young children are so handy especially for the school run. Walking they moan, dawdle…it’s hard work. But they love scooters. You just got to make sure you can keep up with them. lol. Game changer
Fortnum & Mason released this years Christmas crackers today. They're £1000 a box. Just in case anyone fancies buying me some. TIA 😀
Wow 😮 il just limit myself to the 1 box make sure there’s plenty for everyone else 😂 …. Seriously tho £1000 for basic novelty items I just wish I had that kind of money 😢
Even better version of the duvet is where they also join down the middle so you can have different ratings each side
Ah, the surreptitious Alice in Wonderland reference.....down the rabbit hole😉
Lol security, aren't most your houses made with plywood? Just walk through the wall😂
Americans only read the first chapter of 3 little pigs😂😂😂
You would think with all the tornados and hurricanes they would have learned how to make houses properly by now!
I’ve been eating Weetabix for my breakfast for the last 40 years.
Always with cold milk and a sprinkle of sugar.
I do eat other cereals as well.
Micro scooters are the best, we walk to school here and can be quite far so it’s easier for the kids to scoot and they keep up better.
They last so well, after 4 kids I have 9 left in my garden ready to donate to the school for other kids that don’t have one 😊
some nutritionists have said ( in the past 🤨)that there's more calories in the box than the cereal. I still enjoy them though☺
There is in regular kiddie cereals but weetabix only have wheat in them probably the best cereal for you other than bran flakes etc
Weetabix is a classic. I haven't had it for years but I ate it for breakfast ALL the time growing up.
Weetabix is now owned by an American company called Post. I was brought up with weetabix, cold milk in the summer and hot milk in winter, soft brown sugar being an occasional treat to make it taste slightly caramelly. I have also worked at Weetabix, the standards are very High.
The amber before green, gives you that extra second so any red light jumper has less chance of hitting you.
Always a positive video much love to you and your family.
@Thurgosh_OG Yes, I know👌the French were the 1st to use them in the 70s, though then Britain copied them in the 80s 🤣
with all the hate in the world, these neutral videos give a warm feeling to watch. You giys need the kettle
just out of convenience lol
Kettles take so much longer to boil in USA. Their AC is lower. Many people use one on the gas hob though.
With regard to what she was saying about the crisps/chips; We have large bags and 'snack size' bags, but we also have large bags that contain multiple snack size bags inside, rather than just one big back of loose crisps.
I had Weetabix tonight with cold milk and lemon curd, but usually just with the milk.
Weetabix and door handles? I was thinking more gun laws, actual access to healthcare, and by far the most important of all, real football.
Is that comment against the American game of HandEgg?
Re the combi quilts/ douvettes .....you can also use the thinner one under your bedsheet...while other/s on top!
N the quilt covers are f hygiene reasons, added insulation n aesthetics!
Most homes in u.k do not have air con.
2 weetabix in a bowl, add milk, pour some sugar, add a 3rd weetabix & more sugar, sit & wait for the milk to be soaked up, then consume 👌
Weetabix, sugar and milk. Mix it up like a porrage and its a quick to eat power breakfast.
Why would you want a rainbow Lego land sign, in this day in age people would just be like, look gay lego land 🙄🤣
Having driven in the UK for 50 years and during the last few years driven in the states i can categorically say that our traffic lights are superior with the amber light. Her points are well made on this.
I grew up in 60’s Britain so white sugar went on everything- especially Weetabix and my Ready Bek
I’m literally born in the UK and I’m still watching this 😅
Never had Weetabix dry. Always with milk and a little sugar. And yes, we have zip-lock bags.
I used to give my kids Weetabix for breakfast as there’s less additives and sugar. You can enhance the flavour with sliced banana and other fruit or just have it with milk
My wife and I have a two-sided duvet - 13.5 tog on her half and 10.5 tog on mine. Perfect👍
One important thing to note with British traffic light law there is NO turn on red
Cold milk is delicious with a touch of sugar ,ziplocks are a thing that you can get at most supermarkets!
Weetabix is also a great bulking agent in breakfast smoothies/milkshakes.
Even better, just watch anyone from the UK, because they're all adorable 😃. That smile Neil, even if I don't get a chance to watch, I always notice. We grew up on it in Tasmania, I love cornflakes 😁😃👍💞.
I have lived in the UK all my life and I can assure you most of us are absolutely NOT adorable😂😂
When i was younger i had weetsbix with milk and a layer of sugar on them. Now im older i preder coconut milk, honey and sliced banana on weetabix. Yummy 😋
The tourist signs do exist in areas with lower populations. In Florida, we have billboards and road signs that direct you to major attractions and small signs for others. For the most part, the attraction pays for the adverts and small direction signs.
Jim Jeffries on guns for security "I don't see any of you subscribing to Security Monthly or taking selfies next to your security door saying hell yeah!" lol
Weetabix cold milk only with a sprinkle of sugar for me
Colours are also symbols so they are brown because it is a neutral colour. Red, yellow, green, blue are all involved in alerting us to various meanings
I can’t believe she didn’t mention Dogging 😂😂😂
Most Front doors when you pull the hande up you have 3 lock bolts secureinh the door.
Doors are mainly made of wood and pvc here in uk
