- Thrill of a lifetime... When the impossible become reality ! If you don't ask, you have no chance ! The worst you can get is no ! Kiss mentionned a million times that the most important thing for them was their fans ! They proved it once again ! I enjoyed every second of this meet & greet. Thank you Gene, Paul, Tommy and Eric for what you did. I will never forget this privileged moment i had with you...

That's why he's tuning it, so he can look back on it and enjoy the recording instead of saying I sound awful bc he gave me an untuned bass

VIP nation told us that sometimes they let people sign. I asked them if they ever let people play with them. The answer was NO ! That may explain Gene reaction.

Calm and controlled on the outside only beleive me ! Took me 2 hours to calm down after. You can see on the video (2m38s) my right hand shaking.

Very nice, Yves! And so cool of KISS to let you play with them... Have you heard of Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp? I got to perform with Paul Stanley at the Playboy Mansion a few years ago, and found out that he was one of the first rock stars to sign on to RRFC... Oh, and Eric wasn't scheduled to appear, but he came with Paul. I had hoped Gene would show up for the show, but he didn't. However, Gene is doing a Camp in Vegas at the end of this month. Also, Bruce Kulick is a regular Fantasy Camp counselor, and about a year or two ago, Peter Criss did one in New York. Oh, and my first time at a Fantasy Camp was in 2010, and Ace Frehley came to our practice rooms and played a song with each of the bands. Additionally, you may or may not be aware that KISS launched the KISS Navy a few years ago, which is an annual cruise with the band, where they give a lot of fans the chance to play with them. Yeah, they make a lot of money from such events, but they really do still give you your money's worth, don't they?

Je n'oublierai jamais ce moment là... Ils ont étés plus que généreux une fois qu'ils se sont rendu compte que j'étais un vrai fan et que je savais jouer ! J'ai eu la chance de passer du temps seul avec eux après le set acoustique. Malheureusement, ça, j'ai pas eu le droit de filmer... Ils sont vraiment cool !

Moi, j'avais gagné un Meet and Greet au dernier show de Rush en octobre l'an passé. C'est spécial rencontrer tes idoles. Encore mieux de pouvoir jammer avec eux autres !

pars4245 I bought a meet & greet package that gave me access to this private acoustic set, an autograph session, a picture with the band in full make-up and first row ticket for the show. The cost for those tickets was $1250 ea.

pwxproguy I'll say. I'm a Beatle fan and I go to the fest pretty regularly and last year Micky Dolenz was charging $40 per person to pose for a polaroid. FUCK THAT! I was livid when I heard about that. A lot of us saw him leaving afterward and he didn't even look in anyone's direction, had handlers all around him - and...I was just pissed off and turned off.
Sad when bands have to look for money outside of record sales because people steal music.

Kiss released 16 of their records before internet speeds were decent enough to bite into record sales, and 2 after. They have had 14 platinum records, 3 multi platinum. They made their money just fine selling records. And that's not even considering someone like Eminem having managed to make 200+ million dollars when all bit one or two of his records were after internet speeds allowed for illegal downloads. The way Gene Simmons acts is out of sheer greed.
Also, there's looking for money out side of record sales, by touring, playing festivals, licencing deals for their music, image, ec cetera, all things Kiss done, and then there's taking advantage of socially awkward, autistic level obsessed fans with a bit of money. Which is exactly what Gene Simmons has been doing with his vault, his cruises, selling basses used for one song at one gig for tens of thousands of dollars. It's indefensible. Have a watch of a few of the cruise videos, and see if you can find him going a whole hour (in one chunk) where he's not acting sleezy and shit with women, even those married to men who paid to go on the cruise as well.

If some jackass wants to pay ten grand for a "staged used bass", more power to Gene Simmons, and I'm not even a Kiss fan, since they suck big dick. I've never understood the urge people have to meet their favourite artist/band though, but apparently there are people willing to pay good money for a meet and greet, and buy expensive, shitty, memorabila + "VIP tickets".

lucky..... my mom hates kiss, even though she was once a fan herself. she believes that kiss is "of the devil", but i completely disagree! i know i will never get to meet the guys because of her, but i sure want to. she fed me lies about them when i was little, i was deathly afraid of them because of her. one day i heard a song somewhere and i liked it, i searched it up, and it was a kiss song! i began to be brave and finally checked them out for myself, that was the day that i finally felt like a complete person.
