I lived there for 6 years. good tradition and culture. thank you and your voice intonation pronunciation are all nearly authentic to the marati traditional voice. It is your involvement in bhakti and devotion to god, that gives you high pitch of self confidence in singing. thanks . god bless you. and your family
The great yesteryear film director late Satyajit Ray won as many as 35 awards including four best feature film awards. In his comedy movie Goopy Gyne Bhaga Byne he also doubled as music director and one of this movie songs remained a great hit for many years. After he passed away critics the world over had unanimously agreed that none of his later movies could match the greatness of his maiden movie Pather Panchali. I do enjoy every bhajan/abhang rendition of Sivasri. She does give superb performance in every concert. Just the same, I have an uneasy feeling whether she will ever excel much less even equal her concert given in Hyderabad for Telengana day on 31/12. Atleast I am not able to get the same kind of joy and awe as I get even today whenever I listen to her 31/12 rendition. The effortless ease and supreme command the young artiste showed on that day apart from the scintillating rendition of each and every keerthan especially the abhang portion are etched in my memory which will remain for ever. Not a surprise that the viewership of that concert crossed a million in less than a year.
