gin always looks so uninterested in things unless he's annoyed but what really makes gintama so great is that he cares so deeply about everything. it's funny when he doesn't show emotion, it's hilarious when something shocks him or incites an actual response from him. it's always moving when he's moved.

I know it isn't over and that this isn't the final opening. But man scenes like the first shogun sitting (and with them both in the next versions) and the final scene with gintoki leave tears in my eye. I get why the shogun scene gets me, But i can't put my finger on the reason why the gintoki walking scene does the same.

I think that this is easily the best Gintama opening. Sure, 13 and 17 are both amazing with great visuals, but this is just on an another level. Not only does it fit extremely well with the arc and it's themes but also really sounds like you arrived at the final destination, which you actually did after experiencing the amazing 367 episodes of the masterpiece that is Gintama. Fantastic!
