After your last video I wanted to figure out why your content was so great compared to other channels with more subscribers. I have come to the conclusion that it is the commentary. You explain what is happening without hearing the audio from the gameplay. I feel for posting gameplay videos this is a superior form of content. You guys rock! Keep it up!!

These are pretty good videos! They're in the style of MTG Muddstah, which is one of my all-time favorite channels. I do have one suggestion; if you could please talk faster, especially when describing opening hands, that would be awesome. Either way, sub from me!

Hey guys.
It seems like you are recording your sessions with a GoPro or a similar wide angled lense camera. I can tell by the warping of the image. The cards in the center of the table are normal sized but the cards on the left or right side are distorted.
If you want to get rid of the warping(and if you are using a gopro) dont select super wide mode as recording mode. Select something like "normal" mode and move the gopro higher up. If you are using a regular camera with a wide angled lense just move the camera higher up and zoom in a little. The distortion should be a lot better this way.
P.S: Loved the video. You can really feel the love for the game. Keep it up!

Hello! I was wondering if rule 800.4a would affect Gilt-Leaf Archdruid's gain control of lands. Wouldnt the lands be exiled because those lands were permanently controlled?

No, they did it correctly. Objects owned by the player cease to exist, but permanents that they control do not necessarily cease to exist. If they entered the battlefield under the control of their owner, such as this example in which the lands were stolen, they revert to the control of their owners.
In the case of a bribery effect in which the permanent was never controlled by its owner it cases to exist.

The druid stealing land is a permanent effect. The ruling line from 800.4a should be this one :
Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled.

The misplay of grenzo when he first gets summoned triggers me so much
You could have leveled up Joraga a bunch at everyone's end step if you remembered you had a quest for renewal

Grenzo only goads or exlies the defender only not other ppl i run him in my krenko deck, thats why i know thats a bad misplay already
If those lands were controlled permanently then when the Seton player died all those lands would have been exiled. Big rip

i gues you house ruled at 11:15, since normally all the permanents under the control of a player that dies get removed from the game. so you guys shouldnt actually be getting those lands back.
I made a mistake returning the lands to their owners, however it didn't make a difference to the way that the game ended in the long run. I'll remember the correct rules the next time it happens! - Martin.
They played it correctly. Permanents return to their owners if they were originally under the control of their owners when they entered the battlefield and then were stolen.
This is not true of creatures or other permanents that enter the battlefield under the control of a player that is not their owner, such as when a bribery is resolved. These permanents will cease to exist.
you are incorrect:
Rule: 800.4a. When a player leaves the game, all objects (see rule 109) owned by that player leave the game, any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end, and all spells and abilities controlled by that player on the stack cease to exist. Then, if there are any objects still controlled by that player, those objects are exiled. This is not a state-based action. It happens as soon as the player leaves the game. If the player who left the game had priority at the time he or she left, priority passes to the next player in turn order who’s still in the game.
So in short, every spell/ability/stack/effect around the player gets removed instantly when the player loses. So the ''return trigger'' also stops.
Sorry man, still wrong. "any effects which give that player control of any objects or players end" meaning the things that were stolen would return back to the orginal players. The rules states that the cards owned by the player get exiled instead of controlled. Thats where it gets tricky.

It distinguishes specifically between a scenario where an act of treason is cast and the person loses the game, and when a bribery is cast and the person loses the game.
