When you turned onto Cross St, I was like "no, I wanna stay on Long Ridge!". Then I remembered I wasn't driving. Lol. I really enjoy these driving videos, makes you feel like you are really there.
City looks good! Very nice footage. Yep, traffic traffic traffic!!! Seems like there’s nothing but cars everywhere you go there. Downtown is very walkable though. The city makes sure there’s things to do year round and NYC is 45 minutes away by train. Some nice beaches there. Forget about riding a bike downtown. Looks like a fine place to live.
You should try driving through Meriden, I live around there. Maybe try driving through Hubbard Park, the local park there. There's a historic castle, Castle Craig, on a mountain peak, but it has since been closed for the season.
Very tidy city! The downtown area looks bigger than the downtown area of Hartford....even though the average building in Hartford is taller. (Can some local confirm this?) 😮
Unfortunately, the last block of Summer Street, where all the fun is, is ALL CHOPPED UP and nearly impassible. Hope they'll finish that dang project by summer!!!!!
Awesome drive through Downtown Stamford CT

I definitely love and miss living in Connecticut. I always loved New England and New York.
I agree, I live in the south and it’s so cookie cutter bland and good walkable streets are not common like in older the northern cities
Wow at the Blockbuster sign at around 8:40 ish mark!
A historic landmark in these times!

I'll try to swing through.
@@MileageMikeTravels fun fact: Meriden used to be a part of the neighboring city, Wallingford.
Nice ride in Stamford CT
Hope you have a great Thanksgiving so far
I'm a WWE fan by the way and I see the WWE headquarters
One day I will live here with my children and husband 💕
Stamford should get some minor league sports teams affiliated with the major leagues.
Nice drive around Stamford, Connecticut.
This is great. It looks like the polar opposite of Bridgeport. It also looks much more populous than 140k people
Asc What's the camera did you use in this driving
CT has its flaws, but overall it's a very pleasant place to live --- if you can afford it.
