He was so jealous that she slept with another man, that he decided to be spiteful and keep dating Sofia, now that Kourtney doesn't really care and is comfortable with Sofia, he makes an issue out of things that don't matter, cause his not getting the response he initially hoped for. I'm guessing Kourtney got used to him cheating, so that's why she doesn't really care that his dating Sofia. She's done crying over him and now trying to look out for the kids and their mental health regarding the fact their daddy is banging a barely there young adult, and Scott in his trivial childish mind is still trying to get back at Kourtney. If they didn't want to be in that situation, they could have said no, like civil adults.

Not say she's bored - that's a red flag. Maybe once Sophia starts to see Scott's children as her step-children she will exude the same level of interest to make sure the kids have a great time regardless of her comfort level. That's what it is to co-parent as the new person in the family. The children are FIRST, everything else is last and can be discussed once they are asleep and not while they are present........

I strongly agree. In the past I tried to be with a single father and it did not work out for me. It was so weird and exhausting most of the time because I did not have my own kids and will not have for the next 10 years. I tried my best but it did not wok out. I truly did not understand the dynamic of having a family and responsibilities of parenting. Kids just made me tired.

This is a really hard thing to do! Scott and Kourtney have a long history together and most probably still have strong feelings for each other, Sofia is definitely feeling this and it's really hard for her to see them being so familiar ... there's a lot of strong emotions happening that everyone needs to keep in check at all times.

I've seen a couple of polygamous family and this is exactly what they portray to people:
Having a vacation together with the kids. But it gets awkward because the husband (Scott) gets overwhelmed of how to divide his attention to his first wife (Kourtney) and second wife (Sofia). Both wives want his time and attention, but the second wife is too shy or too afraid to demand it, so she can only look from afar and not protesting when the first wife is around.
Both wives's relationshsip is pretty good and stable. They're not best friends, but they can tolerate each other. Both understand that they have to make some compromises because they share one man together (except in this situation Kourtney and Scott are not actually together, but you get what I mean).
