- 8th Man Episode 13: Top-level scientists are disappearing and Chief Fumblethumbs is concerned with the safety of the arriving Dr. Quazion after the disappearance of Dr. Multiple and his daughter, Betty right before the approaching Conference. 8th man trades places with Dr Quazion using his power of instant disguise and is apprehended by the culprit, Bat Master, and his two henchmen, Stoogewick and Sam, who chime in constant loyalty, "We obey the Bat". Bat Master plans to gather the knowledge of the scientists with his diabolical Memory Mover and Electronic Brain Bank machines, for the Director of the International Spying Bureau of Intercrime, Mr. Scowler.

I like how 8-Man occasionally laughs and makes jokes. He's a cyborg with a sense of humor.
This so incredible watching animated from 1965.
Actually the animation itself is from 1963.
How did I know Tobor would use his instant disguise to protect the Dr. :D
It's a kids show.Don't ask smart questions. I didn't when I watched this when I was 6. That was 50 yrs. ago.
Those bats in the trees made me realize the actual meaning of the word bat-rey.

We got this series in LA in '66 and even as a kid I didn't fall for that BS! Poor transfer btw.

The 'BAT' villain, has been from a novel, titled The "BAT". There is a 1925 (I think), silent film 🎞️ titled the same, then it's remake in '59, with Vincent Price. But I'm NOT saying, this episode is. I guess being compared to a well hated, small, flying furry mammal, ain't such a pleasurable image 😕!!
