I just discovered this band 2 days ago (thanks, TH-cam! 👍🏻) and I’ve already bought all the music I they have on iTunes. I love Surf rock and these girls kick ass at it!
These women must have a semi for all their outfits. Mind you, the white Go-Go boots seem to be consistent in all their videos. Love their commitment. They work hard at this stuff.
To the server Jets thank you for your music you are very talented you are very beautiful be blonde playing the guitar is very beautiful she is gorgeous you have a very beautiful talent I love listening to you I will continue listening to you all music thank you again may God bless you and be with you in your journeys this is Bobby
Thanks for posting this. the 1st song is Hurricane by Conrad and the Hurricane Strings from '63 and the second song is I Had Too Much To Dream (Last Night) by the Electric Prunes from late '66. And yes it's time they came to Southern California where surf music started.
I had too much to surf last night - fantastic and out of this world! These beautiful and supremely incredible girls deserve maximum respect and please keep the driller killer super surf tunes rocking and a rolling. Best wish from Swinging Psychedelic London and cheers! DJ Narinder 🤩🎸🕺🏻💃💜
For completists; Nicole's Strat is in burgandy mist and she uses both Electro Harmonix Grand Canyon and Boss Fender 63 pedals. Shermy's instrument is a one off customisation and is called Shaggy arising from the Shaguar decal on the headstock. She relies on the Solid Gold Surfrider 3 effect. The have Fender 6G15 reverb tanks for studio use. Here their amplification is the Fender Excelsior although when touring the house power is commonly used
These gals are everywhere! Head over to Montreal some time, get set up at the Theatre Saint Denis and you’ll fill the place, nice cozy atmosphere, saw Joe Bonomassa there.
Two days ago I first recognized that Magdalena O'Connel of "Hi-Tide-Recordings" announces the Surfrajettes. I think "Hi-Tide-Recordings" organize the Asbury-Park-Festival.
Me too!! I'm in Scotland, and have just been listening to surf rock for the past 2 hours, and it's New Year's Day 2020! Happy New Year fellow Surf Rock lovers! ☺
I love this group they rock. They re not tongue in cheek at all. Bring on the CD s i m of that generation. Actually a lot of their music was popular when i was in high school!

Sweet Love by Conrad and the hurricanes would also fit, I think. In a song (2nd?) presented at the Mai-Kai Restaurant Nicole plays a similar Hawaian Sound on her strat.
Oh it was because of the rain. I think it's best all squashed in. 0:48 Nicole turns it up to 11. Introduction by Magdalena O'Connell of Hi-Tide Recordings, Hurricane, I Had Too Much To Surf Last Night.
I love it ... when is the movie going to be out? Do the Fender people know about this? Will you / do you have a effects preset for the Mustang Amps we can down load @ Fender.com? Fender should be paying you.
2:35 This song wasn't even a surf song, it was sort-of a forerunner to psychedelic rock. But these girls managed to pull it off and make it fit into the surf genre they specialize in. Love the tone in the lead and rhythm guitars they're using. Takes me back a _loooooooong_ way.

@@sharkyssite7492 OK Sharky. I've checked out Rev Horton Heat (briefly) and it sounded like punk rock, I like that but I'm not sure The Surfrajettes should be associated with it at all. Or surf probably either. Maybe I'm looking at this from a European perspective but I think the girls have a much wide appeal and I don't see that being served by them doing surf festivals. In any case I'd wonder how many of them there really are, this weekend they could have been at Glastonbury. They certainly shouldn't be supporting anybody that does something else. Whatever, just so long as they ARE able to regroup some time, enjoy it and make a bit of money for themselves.
