- May 26, 2017 - Without a doubt, one of the most memorable performances from Boston Calling 2017. In Mac’s words, “this set was a real shit-banger”. Mac’s guitar pedal wasn’t working, his acoustic guitar was broken, the bass reverberations from Migos made his insides rumble, but despite all that - it was an unforgettable hour of music, crowd surfing, beverage consumption and a very special prom dance.

I was at this show, and I will never forget how hysterical it was when at 40:54 Mac asks someone in the crowd for a lighter and was then pelted by hundreds of lighters and objects throughout "One More Love Song": Awesome show haha.
Same here.. That was amazing and I think that show was the best show I've ever seen. I laughed so hard when his string broke and they started playing making my way downtown. He is such an amazing artist.

I walked by this set and had no idea who this drunk guy was. I'm still kicking myself.
My brother plays keys and stuff for Mac (yep, that's my brother) and Mac and Alec always practiced in my parents basement. Mac is just a totally normal guy. He's a character, for sure, but they're all just normal guys.

Honestly tho. I've been struggling in life recently but his music has helped me through it. His music is so laid back yet upbeat at the same time. Simple yet complex and unique. Learning his music on guitar/bass also lets me appreciate his music so nuch more.
