Thanks and good job solving the second one! It needs actual logic ;) To the last one: When you have 5 numbers there are ten possible pairs. And in the riddle, three of the pairs sum up to 11.
I love this channel, but it's a pity that many times the clear, unambiguous explanation and directions are missing at the beginning of the riddle. Now, for the people who still didn't solve the third riddle: "Three pairs of digits sum up to eleven" means: "three pairs of digits EACH sum up to 11" (e.g. a+c=11, a+d=11, c+e=11)
"Oh look, there is a closed vault. I have NO IDEA what it is... I wonder what it is... *some time later* "I have clues that can help you to unlock this vault!!!" Obviously this person has some problems.
On the the first one..... I'd use the shovel and place it so it can lean on the wall then I can take a step on it and reach the window and jump out......
Got all of em! I did number 3 as this a,b,c,d,e which means after applying rules- 3*e,b,b-3,b+4,e call it equation 1 from there, its easy to see b can only be 3,4,5 and e can only be 1,2,3 since we know some of any 3 pairs is 11, it eliminates all pairs of digit 3,4,5 except b-3+b-4, and b+b-3 (cuz other pairs result 11 adding/subtracting with a odd number, which results in an odd number, and since 2*b is present in the sum, getting b would involve dividing an odd number by 2) It's easy to see that b+b-3 is not valid as it results in b being 7, which is not possible this leaves us with b-3+b+4 giving us b as 5 (cuz b-3+b+4=11 means 2*b=11-1 which means b=10/2) now, e+b+4 (sum of last 2 digits) results e+b being 6, which is perfectly valid hence put b there, we get e= 2 put it back in equation 1 You get 65292!
The question said that "any" 3 pairs sum up to 11. Since I eliminated majority of pairs in the first paragraph itself, there were only a few them remaining, d+e=11 among them. Since we had got 2 pairs in the second paragraph, the third pair should be chosen such that the result is reasonable (b+e maximum could be 8 and minimum could 4) b+e+4=11 results b+e=6, which is well within range ! You can try other pairs too! either they will result in float values, or e+b being outside reason. d+e=11 just happens to be the first one I took as the third pair, because its simply e+b=6.
The last clue for the last riddle was totally deceiving for me: I thought that 6 numbers (three different pairs of numbers) summed up would result 11. There's also answers for that: 05290, 33071 To avoid confusion, maybe that should read "5. Three distinct pairs of digits sum up to 11 each" Well, that's a non-native english speaker opinion
It's less math and more just narrowing it down. From clues 2-4 alone, you get that digit 2 must be 3-5, digit 3 must be 0-2, and digit 4 must be 7-9. Then when you get the clue about adding up pairs to 11, I made the logical assumption that digit 3 would be 2 (because otherwise that's one less digit that can be used for the pairings). That gave me digits 2 and 4 as well. Finally digits 1 and 5 were just a matter of seeing that a second 2 would get you an easy pair to 11 (with the 9, which is digit 4). And 3*2 = 6 which happens to add up with 5 to 11. This gives the 3 pairs that each add up to 11. You could say I got lucky with the assumption, but if I had been incorrect, I would have realized it quickly enough to alter the plan.
Well, dont we have a smarty pants here in the comment section. I easily worked out how to do the first and second one. The third one came. Which is a riddle, a riddle is "a question or statement intentionally phrased so as to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer or meaning, typically presented as a game." That's exactly what you're doing, you're given some information and have to extrapolate/solve from there. It's totally a riddle!
64182 can be the answer of the third one, can't it? here 641 or 182 makes 11. 6 (first digit) is three times of 2 (5th digit), 4(2nd digit) is three more than 1 (3rd digit), 8 (4th digit) is four more than 4 (2nd digit).
yeah, that's what i thought. place the first coin, and then flip the table. that's not against the rules, and the guard cant place a coin on the table if it's upside down.

should be "Three pairs of digits that each sum up to 11" instead of "Three pairs of digits sum up to 11" based on the orginal rule, the answer is... 34181 [3,1],[4,1],[1,1] 3+1+4+1+1+1 = 11

I am not not cringy most of the people here hate math or are lazy and I am not a 6 year old I am a 10 year idk and yes I play roblox idc if you have a problem and I am not the last word you said that word means a female dog so idk what you are talking about saying I am that
how about if our hands are tied up, everyone rushes at him at all diffrent angles and one goes for the gun magazine to take out the bullet clip, the other one rams into his rib cage, and the other one kicks him in his nuts. That'll cripple any man with a gun.
Coolerpop6 first of all, all of their hands are tied up. And second of all, you can see that he has a gun… (I didn't mean to say that in a mad or rude way)
For the third one I did the problem like this, =/ 1. The password is a 5 digit number 2. The 4th digit is 4 more than the 2nd one 3. The 3rd digit is 3 less than the 2nd one 4. The 1st digit is 3 times the 5th digit 5. Three pairs of digits sum up to 11 Alright so it says the 1st digit is 3 times the 5th digit so I went to look at the 5th digit, and got 15. The 3rd digit is 3 less than the 2nd one so I thought it would be 1.The 4th digit is 4 more than the 2nd one so I got 8. It was going great till I my plans got foiled by 'Three pairs of digits sum up to 11' and all my work flushed down the drain well I went too deep in my answer well now I feel stupid lesson learned to read instructions or clues in my case. My number that I thought was the answer was 1518 I didn't get to finish well this was long if you read all this wow. Welp bye.
First 1, I mean really why can’t he jump out that window, that’s a small jump Second 1, smash the guy with your coin bag and go in Last one, currently it’s summer so I’m not doing math
I was trying to overcomplicate the first riddle, thinking that the guy could tie his clothing to his shovel to create a makeshift "grappling hook," and throw it out the tall window to pull himself up. I did consider that he could make a tall pile of dirt, but I thought that was too easy of an answer to that riddle. smh
edit: It was three pairs of digits to sum to 11, not three digits to sum to 11 which will lead to totally different solution. In that case no need of so much math, but it worth thinking and having fun with it. Very good Riddles but hope we get more accurate with the last one because there are 4 solutions which are [3,3,0,7,1] [6,3,0,7,2][6,4,1,8,2][0,5,2,9,0]. From the clues we know digits are [3y, x-4, x-7, x, y], 7
Surely you could have the argument that there should not contain 0 in the digits and I respect your point of view. But I have my debate that I think there could be a zero in the digits: 1. no clue said there should not contain any zero in the digits. 2. the 5-digit is a password which I assume password could have zeros by common sense. 3. there is a 0 clearly shows in the picture on the keypad for inputing a 0 as password.
its three pairs of digits to sum to 11, not three digits to sum to 11. therefore those four solutions do not work. only the last one has a digit pair that sums to 11 (2+9), but it would need two more pairs to be valid. the others do not have any digit pairs that sum to 11.
only nine numbers satisfy the first 4 rules: 34181, 64182, 94183, 35291, 65292, 95293, 36301, 66302, 96303, only one of those satisfies the 5th rule, 65292, 6+5, 2+9, 9+2 edit: that was done under the assumption that 0 on the keypad has the numerical value of 10, i.e. a digit 4 greater than 6 would be a 0 on the keypad this doesn't actually matter for the final answer, if 0 has the numerical value of 0 just replace 36301, 66302, 96303, with 33071, 63072, 93073 none of which are viable answers anyway.
The reason why his explanation was correct was that a pair contains 2 numbers, and so 3 pairs is 3 sets of 2 numbers, but you probably figured that out already
Solution for the last puzzle: Clues: [A] d = 4 + b [B] c = b - 3 [C] a = 3e [D] Three pairs of numbers a, b, c, d & e add up to 11 (e.g. a + b = 11, b + c = 11 & d + e = 11) > Begin to find the domains of the numbers a, b, c, d & e, starting with c & d: (1) c = b - 3 [CLUE A] (2) d = 4 + b [CLUE B] > Re-arrange to solve for b (2) b = d - 4 > Sub (2) into (1) (1) c = (d - 4) - 3 (1) c = d - 7 OR d = c + 7 Therefore since there are only 0-9, if (0

Got all of em! I did number 3 as this
a,b,c,d,e which means after applying rules-
3*e,b,b-3,b+4,e call it equation 1
from there, its easy to see b can only be 3,4,5 and e can only be 1,2,3
since we know some of any 3 pairs is 11, it eliminates all pairs of digit 3,4,5 except b-3+b-4, and b+b-3 (cuz other pairs result 11 adding/subtracting with a odd number, which results in an odd number, and since 2*b is present in the sum, getting b would involve dividing an odd number by 2)
It's easy to see that b+b-3 is not valid as it results in b being 7, which is not possible
this leaves us with b-3+b+4
giving us b as 5 (cuz b-3+b+4=11 means 2*b=11-1 which means b=10/2)
now, e+b+4 (sum of last 2 digits) results e+b being 6, which is perfectly valid
hence put b there, we get e= 2
put it back in equation 1
You get 65292!
Raghavendra Singh Dasila. But the question did not give the details about d+e:11. Did not got the last and first digit part??
But instead of chossing 3 digits u choosed 2??

3. Unlock the door

64182 can be the answer of the third one, can't it? here 641 or 182 makes 11. 6 (first digit) is three times of 2 (5th digit), 4(2nd digit) is three more than 1 (3rd digit), 8 (4th digit) is four more than 4 (2nd digit).
he said 3 separate *pairs* of numbers add up to 11, not 2 sets of 3 numbers.
three pairs, not two pairs of three. You have to have three sets of two numbers that add up to 11.
Got 1st and last. For the 2nd, I thought, place the coin and break the table😂😂

I decided in the second one to put a coin on the table and then kick it over so he couldn't place any
nice I would probably do that!
I was going to say place the coins on their edges to take up less space until you run out of coins.
I wouldn't do that if I was you, the guardian looks like he'll kick your ass for the hell of it.
You could also simply push one of his coins out of the way to make room for yours.
Indeed. I was thinking that the 'American solution' would be to beat the guy over the head with your bag of coins, take his, and walk on through.
I couldn't understand the last clue in the last riddle
If you take 2 numbers three times it's a total of 11. You can take the same number an indefinite amount of times, as long as you take three pairs
Or, maybe three different pairs give 11, so a total of 33. Idk
I'm so confused
It took me a sec to understand so I'll try and explain it. a pair means two digits. so there are 3 combinations of 2 digits that add up to 11. in this case it's 9 and 2, 9 and 2 again, and 5 and 6.

Why go through the bother of putting a coin on its side when you can just pick up one of his coins whenever you need space and place one of your coins in the gap. Considering this isn't stopped in the rules it's a miracle anyone ever wins this game.
Mr.Mr. & More Mr. c
Wow! I solved the first and the last one😂😂

Shagufta Abbas same
Shagufta Abbas same
All of them i got right💯
I failed the last one cause I hate math :p
don't worry the question wasn't worded correctly so even if you were good at math it wouldn't matter.
Pinglen And ROBLOX Gameplays well you failed because it wasn't a riddle, it was a math problem.
Yeah I couldn't be bothered
Yawn it doesn't matter
I am not not cringy most of the people here hate math or are lazy and I am not a 6 year old I am a 10 year idk and yes I play roblox idc if you have a problem and I am not the last word you said that word means a female dog so idk what you are talking about saying I am that
*Huh, I didn't know that the USA had only 17 states... And I live there! At least that's what his flag tells me...*
Zelkypoo WHAT OMG WHEN DID THE OTHER 33 STATES GO, I THOUGHT WE WERE UNITED!!!
NOW YOU GUYS ARE UNUNITED
I figured he could escape the jail by hitting himself in the head with the shovel until he died. He wouldn't be in jail anymore?
khoid His corpse would
but they wont leave a corpse in the jail.
+kab hes in America they will...
e would still be in jail but he would be dead. GREAT THINKING!
Yes he would, the dead body...
He can use the shovel to dig up dirt to put a pile near the window to get out of the window I love your videos

ChewMacka07 DUDE he need to make a dirt stand and jump to it
ChewMacka07 or just watch the video.
LYŒN Works too
Yay I got them all am I cool yet?
Also the third one was quite challenging but I got it anyway FeelsGoodMan
GD Zipper i don't know how you got all ?
ANTIJPUG I'm good at thinking logically :p
even I got all of them correct no big deal
Third one was just school level algebra. Not exactly challenging.
Kid they were way too easy even the third one.
For the third one I would gang up with the other two and knock out Jack.
Coolerpop6 ya know, because 3 tied up men with no weapons beats a guy with a gun
WADDUP BOIS I would call the cops with my smart watch. It would still work even if my hands were tied behind my back
Yes, we all have smart watches.
how about if our hands are tied up, everyone rushes at him at all diffrent angles and one goes for the gun magazine to take out the bullet clip, the other one rams into his rib cage, and the other one kicks him in his nuts. That'll cripple any man with a gun.
Coolerpop6 first of all, all of their hands are tied up. And second of all, you can see that he has a gun…
(I didn't mean to say that in a mad or rude way)
I got the first two riddles! I'm very happy
Got first and third, second one was pretty cool
Good job :) And thanks!!
Solved all
Nice, i didn't.
If Jack knew all this, then why the hell didn't he do it himself?
He is bad at maths
but calculators exists
+Emyay maybe he didn't come equipped with a calculator??

chances are he has a phone. calculators are on phones.

Muffled Memes Yes 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Muffled Memes number 2 dont fucking play
I solved all 3, took me a while to solve the third one, had to write them down and go by process of elimination.
the answer to the first one should be either: do a wallrun, or stick the shovel in the ground and step on it.
Omar سلوم wallrun is for pussys jump and muscle up
That's what I was thinking boost yourself up or stand on the shovel while its deep in the dirt!
if you're american the standing on the shovel wont work because the shovel will go through the ground because americans are fat
Solved 1st and 2nd
for number one: whack head with shovel, get taken to hospital MISSION COMPLETED
Dylan Palmer who will take you to the hospital?
* if you are playing GTA this will work lol
Thyself boi he is a chilllld
Dylan Palmer that's an awesome idea
Dylan Palmer lmao
For the third one I did the problem like this, =/
1. The password is a 5 digit number
2. The 4th digit is 4 more than the 2nd one
3. The 3rd digit is 3 less than the 2nd one
4. The 1st digit is 3 times the 5th digit
5. Three pairs of digits sum up to 11
Alright so it says the 1st digit is 3 times the 5th digit so I went to look at the 5th digit, and got 15. The 3rd digit is 3 less than the 2nd one so I thought it would be 1.The 4th digit is 4 more than the 2nd one so I got 8. It was going great till I my plans got foiled by
'Three pairs of digits sum up to 11' and all my work flushed down the drain well I went too deep in my answer well now I feel stupid lesson learned to read instructions or clues in my case. My number that I thought was the answer was 1518 I didn't get to finish well this was long if you read all this wow. Welp bye.
Bugggle Bug lol i read all of this
Bugggle Bug that is the longest comment i ever seen
how long did it take u to write that comment
Bugggle Bug try the Solution 02560
Superstar TM I have a lot of spare time on my hands, so it toke about 30 minutes, since I have nothing else to do.
What does clue #5 even mean
on that 3rd one, wouldnt the code 64182 work aswell?
Does not satisfy 5th condition.
Ronald Rhodes yes it does... 1+8+2= 11
No two numbers in your code have pairs that add up to 11
Ronald Rhodes 2 times 3 is 6 so yes it does meet the 5th condition
Not "Three *PAIRS* of digits sum to 11."
I solved all of them
First 1, I mean really why can’t he jump out that window, that’s a small jump
Second 1, smash the guy with your coin bag and go in
Last one, currently it’s summer so I’m not doing math

@Merchant dude that is literally exactly what happened to me LOL
Theres a bunch of people arguing above your comment, glad I scrolled down.
Got the last one right😁
THE FIRST ONE WAS SO EASY
I was trying to overcomplicate the first riddle, thinking that the guy could tie his clothing to his shovel to create a makeshift "grappling hook," and throw it out the tall window to pull himself up. I did consider that he could make a tall pile of dirt, but I thought that was too easy of an answer to that riddle. smh
First is easy, second is easy, third is a easy math problem...
Learn how to speak english before you comment...
Lm. ao yeah you got it correct. After he said the answers 😂
What does “Three pairs of digits sum up to 11” mean? *I know what does “sum up” mean BTW, but didn’t get the whole sentence

Did anyone get the first one as if it was obvious
Roronoa Zoro me
little too easy.
just stick the shovel in the ground
It said there was nothing else in the cell so I assumed that meant there were no bars.
Roronoa Zoro me
Stand On the shovel
lol no
that's what I thought
This video is very epic
edit: It was three pairs of digits to sum to 11, not three digits to sum to 11 which will lead to totally different solution.
Douglas Lu öhm
There is a zero in the keypad, but I don't think is was mean't to be used and more for aesthetics.
Surely you could have the argument that there should not contain 0 in the digits and I respect your point of view. But I have my debate that I think there could be a zero in the digits:
1. no clue said there should not contain any zero in the digits.
2. the 5-digit is a password which I assume password could have zeros by common sense.
3. there is a 0 clearly shows in the picture on the keypad for inputing a 0 as password.
its three pairs of digits to sum to 11, not three digits to sum to 11. therefore those four solutions do not work. only the last one has a digit pair that sums to 11 (2+9), but it would need two more pairs to be valid. the others do not have any digit pairs that sum to 11.
only nine numbers satisfy the first 4 rules:
34181, 64182, 94183,
35291, 65292, 95293,
36301, 66302, 96303,
only one of those satisfies the 5th rule, 65292, 6+5, 2+9, 9+2
edit: that was done under the assumption that 0 on the keypad has the numerical value of 10, i.e. a digit 4 greater than 6 would be a 0 on the keypad
this doesn't actually matter for the final answer, if 0 has the numerical value of 0 just replace 36301, 66302, 96303, with 33071, 63072, 93073 none of which are viable answers anyway.
1st: step on the shovel and climb out of the window
Edit: oh, I was close anyways
Wenhui Zhu o
Exactly!
So close true
I figured out the first one I is so smart
Apocafeller The King if you are so smart learn grammar
Lol
Thanks again
For the guardian one I said hit The guardian over their head and place you're coin and you win
Last one i got 65292
Edit: Easy boi
WeebTrash i couldn't find your other comment on me but all your replies causes me to lose brain cells
Those loss of brain cells is probably why you can't do basic maths...
"Basic maths" think about it.
Y'all salty at the fact some rando could answer a simple question and you all seemingly failed as by your responces.
I'm gonna be having chips for weeks with all this salt

Just remembered this video was titled: riddles that were popular in the US. None of these are popular in the US.
I live in the USA and have never heard any of these
You copied other comments
Dr Grim Cat it can still apply to him
Nuu
Dr Grim Cat I didn't look at the other comments
Omg i did a full on equation for #3 and i thought i got it right and it was completely wrong, btw my answer was 33071 😡😖😟😧
none of the sum up to 11?
Same answer, The riddle is stupid. It says 3 pairs of digits to be 11, so we thought 3+7+1
anxinic and alicon i got the same answer
The reason why his explanation was correct was that a pair contains 2 numbers, and so 3 pairs is 3 sets of 2 numbers, but you probably figured that out already
That's what i thought it was too!!
1. Dig and pit high enough
2.
3.
Solution for the last puzzle:
Clues:
[A] d = 4 + b
[B] c = b - 3
[C] a = 3e
[D] Three pairs of numbers a, b, c, d & e add up to 11 (e.g. a + b = 11, b + c = 11 & d + e = 11)
> Begin to find the domains of the numbers a, b, c, d & e, starting with c & d:
(1) c = b - 3 [CLUE A]
(2) d = 4 + b [CLUE B]
> Re-arrange to solve for b
(2) b = d - 4
> Sub (2) into (1)
(1) c = (d - 4) - 3
(1) c = d - 7 OR d = c + 7
Therefore since there are only 0-9, if (0
okay well I just have one question for you...
got any grapes?
I couldn't resist
yyeeeaaa, i hear ya Foxy, that's just too fukin complicated
FUK MATH!!
I just did it in my head. Took me about a minute. No paper, no calculator. Also, this looks like a cry for attention. I'm not saying that that discredits your work, but not many people would just say, "Here's the solution" without wanting recognition. Either way, I'm a sucker, so I have to say: nice job working out this formula/equation/whatever the hell this is lol. :3
he provided the answer but i found his explanation rather lacklustre, plus i was bored, calling it a cry for attention is really reading too deep into a helpful youtube comment
Barry Allen Eh it's 3 am. I'm probably not going to remember this in a little while. I am tired but can't sleep. That's why I started watching this. (The cause is me not being able to sleep and the effect is me watching this video and consequently prowling the comments section).
1: step on the shovel and gey out the window
That's what I thought...
Not big enough
