Thanks and good job solving the second one! It needs actual logic ;) To the last one: When you have 5 numbers there are ten possible pairs. And in the riddle, three of the pairs sum up to 11.
The last clue for the last riddle was totally deceiving for me: I thought that 6 numbers (three different pairs of numbers) summed up would result 11. There's also answers for that: 05290, 33071 To avoid confusion, maybe that should read "5. Three distinct pairs of digits sum up to 11 each" Well, that's a non-native english speaker opinion
It took me a sec to understand so I'll try and explain it. a pair means two digits. so there are 3 combinations of 2 digits that add up to 11. in this case it's 9 and 2, 9 and 2 again, and 5 and 6.
how about if our hands are tied up, everyone rushes at him at all diffrent angles and one goes for the gun magazine to take out the bullet clip, the other one rams into his rib cage, and the other one kicks him in his nuts. That'll cripple any man with a gun.
Coolerpop6 first of all, all of their hands are tied up. And second of all, you can see that he has a gun… (I didn't mean to say that in a mad or rude way)
I love this channel, but it's a pity that many times the clear, unambiguous explanation and directions are missing at the beginning of the riddle. Now, for the people who still didn't solve the third riddle: "Three pairs of digits sum up to eleven" means: "three pairs of digits EACH sum up to 11" (e.g. a+c=11, a+d=11, c+e=11)
"Oh look, there is a closed vault. I have NO IDEA what it is... I wonder what it is... *some time later* "I have clues that can help you to unlock this vault!!!" Obviously this person has some problems.
What, maths riddles don't class as riddles to you? "The cost of a ball and a bat add up to $1.10. If the bat costs $1 more than the ball, what does the ball cost?"
Which is a riddle, a riddle is "a question or statement intentionally phrased so as to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer or meaning, typically presented as a game." That's exactly what you're doing, you're given some information and have to extrapolate/solve from there. It's totally a riddle!
It's less math and more just narrowing it down. From clues 2-4 alone, you get that digit 2 must be 3-5, digit 3 must be 0-2, and digit 4 must be 7-9. Then when you get the clue about adding up pairs to 11, I made the logical assumption that digit 3 would be 2 (because otherwise that's one less digit that can be used for the pairings). That gave me digits 2 and 4 as well. Finally digits 1 and 5 were just a matter of seeing that a second 2 would get you an easy pair to 11 (with the 9, which is digit 4). And 3*2 = 6 which happens to add up with 5 to 11. This gives the 3 pairs that each add up to 11. You could say I got lucky with the assumption, but if I had been incorrect, I would have realized it quickly enough to alter the plan.
Well, dont we have a smarty pants here in the comment section. I easily worked out how to do the first and second one. The third one came. should be "Three pairs of digits that each sum up to 11" instead of "Three pairs of digits sum up to 11" based on the orginal rule, the answer is... 34181 [3,1],[4,1],[1,1] 3+1+4+1+1+1 = 11

this is story of James! he escapes from prison, after escaping he stuck in the desert he successfully survive and reached USA then he robbed a bank and police caught him..he again goes to the jail with a shovel....(legend of James) everyone knows his story as an riddles in USA...
4:30 you saying here only the digit numbers *bcd* can be the pair to sum up to 11, right? But then you say that *529* is the correct one but that sums up to *16*... It needed to be 3 numbers to sum up to 11. What am i missing? EDIT: i think the answer is, 64182 The three numbers 1,8,2 add up to 11..
yeah, that's what i thought. place the first coin, and then flip the table. that's not against the rules, and the guard cant place a coin on the table if it's upside down.
I was trying to overcomplicate the first riddle, thinking that the guy could tie his clothing to his shovel to create a makeshift "grappling hook," and throw it out the tall window to pull himself up. I did consider that he could make a tall pile of dirt, but I thought that was too easy of an answer to that riddle. smh
Got all of em! I did number 3 as this a,b,c,d,e which means after applying rules- 3*e,b,b-3,b+4,e call it equation 1 from there, its easy to see b can only be 3,4,5 and e can only be 1,2,3 since we know some of any 3 pairs is 11, it eliminates all pairs of digit 3,4,5 except b-3+b-4, and b+b-3 (cuz other pairs result 11 adding/subtracting with a odd number, which results in an odd number, and since 2*b is present in the sum, getting b would involve dividing an odd number by 2) It's easy to see that b+b-3 is not valid as it results in b being 7, which is not possible this leaves us with b-3+b+4 giving us b as 5 (cuz b-3+b+4=11 means 2*b=11-1 which means b=10/2) now, e+b+4 (sum of last 2 digits) results e+b being 6, which is perfectly valid hence put b there, we get e= 2 put it back in equation 1 You get 65292!
The question said that "any" 3 pairs sum up to 11. Since I eliminated majority of pairs in the first paragraph itself, there were only a few them remaining, d+e=11 among them. Since we had got 2 pairs in the second paragraph, the third pair should be chosen such that the result is reasonable (b+e maximum could be 8 and minimum could 4) b+e+4=11 results b+e=6, which is well within range ! You can try other pairs too! either they will result in float values, or e+b being outside reason. d+e=11 just happens to be the first one I took as the third pair, because its simply e+b=6.
I am not not cringy most of the people here hate math or are lazy and I am not a 6 year old I am a 10 year idk and yes I play roblox idc if you have a problem and I am not the last word you said that word means a female dog so idk what you are talking about saying I am that
He seemed like someone who could knock you out I mean he looked pretty damn tough and I dont think a bag of coins is gonna do the trick for that guy...
The reason why his explanation was correct was that a pair contains 2 numbers, and so 3 pairs is 3 sets of 2 numbers, but you probably figured that out already
64182 can be the answer of the third one, can't it? here 641 or 182 makes 11. 6 (first digit) is three times of 2 (5th digit), 4(2nd digit) is three more than 1 (3rd digit), 8 (4th digit) is four more than 4 (2nd digit).
The second question just assumes that if you place the coins in a circle, you will always be able to place an even no. of coins, irrespective of the size of the coin and the radius of the circle, which is ridiculous.
1. climb on the shovel or use the dirt to make it to the window (wowie!) 2. put a coin down sideways, so whenever it is their turn they might knock them over if he tries my strat :P 3. MATH. NOPE.
Why go through the bother of putting a coin on its side when you can just pick up one of his coins whenever you need space and place one of your coins in the gap. Considering this isn't stopped in the rules it's a miracle anyone ever wins this game.
edit: It was three pairs of digits to sum to 11, not three digits to sum to 11 which will lead to totally different solution. In that case no need of so much math, but it worth thinking and having fun with it. Very good Riddles but hope we get more accurate with the last one because there are 4 solutions which are [3,3,0,7,1] [6,3,0,7,2][6,4,1,8,2][0,5,2,9,0]. From the clues we know digits are [3y, x-4, x-7, x, y], 7
Surely you could have the argument that there should not contain 0 in the digits and I respect your point of view. But I have my debate that I think there could be a zero in the digits: 1. no clue said there should not contain any zero in the digits. 2. the 5-digit is a password which I assume password could have zeros by common sense. 3. there is a 0 clearly shows in the picture on the keypad for inputing a 0 as password.
its three pairs of digits to sum to 11, not three digits to sum to 11. therefore those four solutions do not work. only the last one has a digit pair that sums to 11 (2+9), but it would need two more pairs to be valid. the others do not have any digit pairs that sum to 11.
only nine numbers satisfy the first 4 rules: 34181, 64182, 94183, 35291, 65292, 95293, 36301, 66302, 96303, only one of those satisfies the 5th rule, 65292, 6+5, 2+9, 9+2 edit: that was done under the assumption that 0 on the keypad has the numerical value of 10, i.e. a digit 4 greater than 6 would be a 0 on the keypad this doesn't actually matter for the final answer, if 0 has the numerical value of 0 just replace 36301, 66302, 96303, with 33071, 63072, 93073 none of which are viable answers anyway.
Hi, Just one confusion here, only if it's mentioned here that the middle digits sum should be 11 then, 65292 would be the sole answer. But as it's mentioned, three pairs of digit sum up to 11 it can be any 3 digits i think so. Hence, in that case 24186 or 64182 can also be the possible answers.
Hey Aadri :) The clue said three *pairs* of digits - pairs - as in sets of two In 64182, there are no pairs of digits that add to 11 so it can't be the answer
The fifth clue specifies that 3 pairs of numbers add up to 11. To clear things up, I'll put it like this: You can make three groups of two digits (the digits can be reused), and each group of two digits, when added together, will be equal to 11 (not all three groups added together, for whatever reason quite a few people thought this).
33071 would work too because Its 5 digit 4th digit which is 7 is four more than the 2nd digit which is 3 3rd digit which is 0 is three less than the 2nd digit which is 3 1st digit which is 3 is three times than the 5th digit which is 1 7 , 3 , 1 Equals 11
Making 2 digit as 4 U will get 3rd digit as 1 and 4th digit as 8 Make 5th digit as 2 and which makes 1st digit as 6 Results. 64182 641 is 11 plus 182 is 11 plus
I got the same number, but then i realised the creator meant 3 pairs and not three numbers. So its 65, 29, 92 (These pairs all make a sum of 11) This is a little unclear in the video, but thats what the creator meant by 3 pairs.

If you take 2 numbers three times it's a total of 11. You can take the same number an indefinite amount of times, as long as you take three pairs

I'm so confused
It took me a sec to understand so I'll try and explain it. a pair means two digits. so there are 3 combinations of 2 digits that add up to 11. in this case it's 9 and 2, 9 and 2 again, and 5 and 6.

It's less math and more just narrowing it down.
From clues 2-4 alone, you get that digit 2 must be 3-5, digit 3 must be 0-2, and digit 4 must be 7-9.

*Huh, I didn't know that the USA had only 17 states... And I live there! At least that's what his flag tells me...*
Zelkypoo WHAT OMG WHEN DID THE OTHER 33 STATES GO, I THOUGHT WE WERE UNITED!!!
NOW YOU GUYS ARE UNUNITED
I would just beat up the guy in the second riddle, and then steal the coins.
got the first and 3rd, but not the second
Good job ;)
Riddle Channel At first, I thought this channel was a pretty bad idea. But these are all great fun to have a go at, and the animations help with some of the harder riddles, so you've definitely earnt my subscription :D
+elementbender I managed the same. For the second one I was thinking he would just stealthily take a few coins out of his bad :P of course I knew that wouldn't be the actual solution though lol
was kinda proud of myself for getting the third one within a few seconds of writing it down.
elementbender1 same
SpydersByte i had the same solution
Jack, how the hell do you have so much cryptic info on the passcode that you weren't expecting?
lmao
*BAM*
For the third one, say "screw it" and take the daily codes from the manager. No math required.
my first and last one was correct 🙋🙋
this is story of James! he escapes from prison, after escaping he stuck in the desert he successfully survive and reached USA then he robbed a bank and police caught him..he again goes to the jail with a shovel....(legend of James) everyone knows his story as an riddles in USA...

4:30 you saying here only the digit numbers *bcd* can be the pair to sum up to 11, right? But then you say that *529* is the correct one but that sums up to *16*... It needed to be 3 numbers to sum up to 11.
What am i missing?
EDIT: i think the answer is, 64182
The three numbers 1,8,2 add up to 11..
1: step on the shovel and gey out the window
That's what I thought...
Not big enough
Royal Falcon that's what I was thinking its much easier
Got 1st and last. For the 2nd, I thought, place the coin and break the table😂😂
me too idk y
It never said that you can't remove coins.
yeah, that's what i thought. place the first coin, and then flip the table. that's not against the rules, and the guard cant place a coin on the table if it's upside down.
Kataclysm113 he can turn it around again... moron
Stand On the shovel
lol no
that's what I thought
The last one answer could also be 64182 match it with the rules..
@@Naman996 No he isn't. Three pairs of numbers means three sets of two numbers.
I like how he said that he could only survive two more days then like a minute later he said the guy was walking for days, wouldn't he be dead?
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
i cant tell if you're being serious or not
Um... all 3 of them were different people, first James, then you, then Jack.
You stole it from another youtuber
Gerardo Espinoza what do you mean? I was just making a point geez
the answer to the first one should be either: do a wallrun, or stick the shovel in the ground and step on it.
Omar سلوم wallrun is for pussys jump and muscle up
That's what I was thinking boost yourself up or stand on the shovel while its deep in the dirt!
if you're american the standing on the shovel wont work because the shovel will go through the ground because americans are fat
I was trying to overcomplicate the first riddle, thinking that the guy could tie his clothing to his shovel to create a makeshift "grappling hook," and throw it out the tall window to pull himself up. I did consider that he could make a tall pile of dirt, but I thought that was too easy of an answer to that riddle. smh
If you play minecraft you'll probably know the first one mm...

raynard chew I play it but I don’t know

Got all of em! I did number 3 as this
a,b,c,d,e which means after applying rules-
3*e,b,b-3,b+4,e call it equation 1
from there, its easy to see b can only be 3,4,5 and e can only be 1,2,3
since we know some of any 3 pairs is 11, it eliminates all pairs of digit 3,4,5 except b-3+b-4, and b+b-3 (cuz other pairs result 11 adding/subtracting with a odd number, which results in an odd number, and since 2*b is present in the sum, getting b would involve dividing an odd number by 2)
It's easy to see that b+b-3 is not valid as it results in b being 7, which is not possible
this leaves us with b-3+b+4
giving us b as 5 (cuz b-3+b+4=11 means 2*b=11-1 which means b=10/2)
now, e+b+4 (sum of last 2 digits) results e+b being 6, which is perfectly valid
hence put b there, we get e= 2
put it back in equation 1
You get 65292!
Raghavendra Singh Dasila. But the question did not give the details about d+e:11. Did not got the last and first digit part??
But instead of chossing 3 digits u choosed 2??
3 PAIRS! not digits bro! a pair consists of 2 digits
Raghavendra Singh Dasila nerdddd
I failed the last one cause I hate math :p
don't worry the question wasn't worded correctly so even if you were good at math it wouldn't matter.
Pinglen And ROBLOX Gameplays well you failed because it wasn't a riddle, it was a math problem.
Yeah I couldn't be bothered
Yawn it doesn't matter
I am not not cringy most of the people here hate math or are lazy and I am not a 6 year old I am a 10 year idk and yes I play roblox idc if you have a problem and I am not the last word you said that word means a female dog so idk what you are talking about saying I am that

3.
Omg i did a full on equation for #3 and i thought i got it right and it was completely wrong, btw my answer was 33071 😡😖😟😧
none of the sum up to 11?
Same answer, The riddle is stupid. It says 3 pairs of digits to be 11, so we thought 3+7+1
anxinic and alicon i got the same answer
The reason why his explanation was correct was that a pair contains 2 numbers, and so 3 pairs is 3 sets of 2 numbers, but you probably figured that out already
That's what i thought it was too!!
I'm early and just wanted to say I love your videos!
Thank you :) I am happy you enjoy them!
64182 can be the answer of the third one, can't it? here 641 or 182 makes 11. 6 (first digit) is three times of 2 (5th digit), 4(2nd digit) is three more than 1 (3rd digit), 8 (4th digit) is four more than 4 (2nd digit).
he said 3 separate *pairs* of numbers add up to 11, not 2 sets of 3 numbers.
three pairs, not two pairs of three. You have to have three sets of two numbers that add up to 11.
*gets #1 and thinks this is easy*

@Merchant dude that is literally exactly what happened to me LOL
Theres a bunch of people arguing above your comment, glad I scrolled down.
The second question just assumes that if you place the coins in a circle, you will always be able to place an even no. of coins, irrespective of the size of the coin and the radius of the circle, which is ridiculous.
The third one said three _pairs_
Power Wolf Monkey OK? A pair means 2 so three pairs is 6
Power Wolf Monkey U CAN USE THE SAME NUMBER IM A DIFFERE T PAIR
I solved all 3, took me a while to solve the third one, had to write them down and go by process of elimination.
1st: step on the shovel and climb out of the window
Edit: oh, I was close anyways
Wenhui Zhu o
Exactly!
So close true

WeebTrash i couldn't find your other comment on me but all your replies causes me to lose brain cells
Those loss of brain cells is probably why you can't do basic maths...
"Basic maths" think about it.
Y'all salty at the fact some rando could answer a simple question and you all seemingly failed as by your responces.
I'm gonna be having chips for weeks with all this salt
1. climb on the shovel or use the dirt to make it to the window (wowie!)
2. put a coin down sideways, so whenever it is their turn they might knock them over if he tries my strat :P
3. MATH. NOPE.
1. FREEDOM!
2. it needs to be flat
3. Death
Why go through the bother of putting a coin on its side when you can just pick up one of his coins whenever you need space and place one of your coins in the gap. Considering this isn't stopped in the rules it's a miracle anyone ever wins this game.

number one
break the shovel in to and you get a whole/hole. jump in the hole and cry out till ur voice is hoarse/horse. jump on the horse and leave
on that 3rd one, wouldnt the code 64182 work aswell?
Does not satisfy 5th condition.
Ronald Rhodes yes it does... 1+8+2= 11
No two numbers in your code have pairs that add up to 11
Ronald Rhodes 2 times 3 is 6 so yes it does meet the 5th condition
Not "Three *PAIRS* of digits sum to 11."
Got first and third, second one was pretty cool
Good job :) And thanks!!
Solved all
Nice, i didn't.
First the first one why don't u just use the shovel as a step
Dig up a hol an look in yuor back an u will see a ting
edit: It was three pairs of digits to sum to 11, not three digits to sum to 11 which will lead to totally different solution.
Douglas Lu öhm
There is a zero in the keypad, but I don't think is was mean't to be used and more for aesthetics.
Surely you could have the argument that there should not contain 0 in the digits and I respect your point of view. But I have my debate that I think there could be a zero in the digits:
1. no clue said there should not contain any zero in the digits.
2. the 5-digit is a password which I assume password could have zeros by common sense.
3. there is a 0 clearly shows in the picture on the keypad for inputing a 0 as password.
its three pairs of digits to sum to 11, not three digits to sum to 11. therefore those four solutions do not work. only the last one has a digit pair that sums to 11 (2+9), but it would need two more pairs to be valid. the others do not have any digit pairs that sum to 11.
only nine numbers satisfy the first 4 rules:
34181, 64182, 94183,
35291, 65292, 95293,
36301, 66302, 96303,
only one of those satisfies the 5th rule, 65292, 6+5, 2+9, 9+2
edit: that was done under the assumption that 0 on the keypad has the numerical value of 10, i.e. a digit 4 greater than 6 would be a 0 on the keypad
this doesn't actually matter for the final answer, if 0 has the numerical value of 0 just replace 36301, 66302, 96303, with 33071, 63072, 93073 none of which are viable answers anyway.
For number 2 you can just take the guardians coins off of the table

The third riddle doesnt make any sense because you cant get three pairs out of 5 digits.
p.s three pairs equal 6.
you can use the same numbers in different pairs.
juna hay He meant to say "There are 3 pairs of digits that each sum to 11"
Who else here got the riddle 1 correct?
I would hope "everyone". I'm far more interested in who got #2 correct, as it was the only difficult puzzle that required any out of the box thinking.

Hi,
Just one confusion here, only if it's mentioned here that the middle digits sum should be 11 then, 65292 would be the sole answer. But as it's mentioned, three pairs of digit sum up to 11 it can be any 3 digits i think so. Hence, in that case 24186 or 64182 can also be the possible answers.
Hey Aadri :)
The clue said three *pairs* of digits - pairs - as in sets of two
In 64182, there are no pairs of digits that add to 11 so it can't be the answer
I solved riddle 1 and riddle 3
Baltej kumar 910 How did you solve riddle 3?
I figured out the first one I is so smart
Apocafeller The King if you are so smart learn grammar
Lol
Wouldn't 64182 work also or am I just stupid.
The fifth clue specifies that 3 pairs of numbers add up to 11.
To clear things up, I'll put it like this:
You can make three groups of two digits (the digits can be reused), and each group of two digits, when added together, will be equal to 11 (not all three groups added together, for whatever reason quite a few people thought this).
The Lauren Show second option
33071 would work too because
Its 5 digit
4th digit which is 7 is four more than the 2nd digit which is 3
3rd digit which is 0 is three less than the 2nd digit which is 3
1st digit which is 3 is three times than the 5th digit which is 1
7 , 3 , 1 Equals 11
RC Peñaredondo
Three pairs of digits, not three digits.
RC Peñaredondo you can only make 2 pairs of digits with these numbers
Making 2 digit as 4
U will get 3rd digit as 1 and 4th digit as 8
Make 5th digit as 2 and which makes 1st digit as 6
Results.
64182
641 is 11 plus
182 is 11 plus
I got the same number, but then i realised the creator meant 3 pairs and not three numbers. So its 65, 29, 92 (These pairs all make a sum of 11)
This is a little unclear in the video, but thats what the creator meant by 3 pairs.
