Hey, short answer.....it depends. If you want a job as a project engineer, you definitely need a degree. But it depends what other skills you have. For example, if you have experience in business/accounting/contracts, then try and become a quantity surveyor. If you have experience on the ground doing construction, then try and become a foreman and work up the ranks. Bigger companies will tend to want a degree. Smaller comapnies will be more open
