Beautiful visuals, I love the character and enemy design. That said, the map design looks linear with little incentive for exploration, and enemy variety seems to be sorely lacking. Boss design is passable, but could be improved by having a slightly larger and more varied move set. For the core gameplay, the character seems to have a dodge skill with an extremely quick activation and an equally fast recovery, and as I result I expect the final game to either be very easy, where you can quickly reaction dodge any threat with little punishment if you mess up the timing, or extremely fast paced, where you need lightning fast reflexes to deal with very quick, simultaneous enemy attacks.
I hope they make this an open world, not too worried about enemy variety, the original game had many different types of monsters that you can fight. Game is a mix of vindictus core mechanics and dark souls monster fight. Bosses do need second phase but thisnis just pre-alpha so they’re probably just testing the combat
