Actually it is a Spotfin Hogfish, also know as a Cuban Hogfish. The Spanish Hogfish has a dark Purple instead of red. But as you said, beautiful in any case.

I never seen a triple tail before I have heard you talk about them. You said they are really good to eat . Those beautiful green yellow dolphins (Mahi) they are one of favorite besides V. Snappers. Both are beautiful to look at.
Great video! Few things are more fun than casting weed patches and debris for Mahi. Makes the "freezing" 40 degree temps worth it. Great reef fish..and I'm still wondering what you lost on that big run-off!
That was cool! When we went with Captain David back in September, I think we caught 5-6 different species! Great time! That's what is so exciting about fishing down there, ya never know what else you might catch besides your target species! How cool is that!!!

Cuban Hog Fish is what it's called in the Aquarium trade... Sold hundreds of them. It is NOT a Spanish Hog fish... Spanish Hog Fish is purple/blue and white. Yep your audio was good.... The program I use for vids has a noise cancellation function that is great. "camtasia". All you gotta do is find a portion of the video that is only wind noise, isolate it and add it to the cancellation function. Voila no more wind noise in your vids.

He seems to not have a good sense of where his chest camera is pointing, I've noticed it's always above the action, or his hands are in the way compared to other TH-camrs like Thresher fishing...I think he should get at least one more camera to set up stationary in his videos, or at least practice being more aware of where his chest cam is pointing.

That is a species of Wrasse called the Spotfin Hogfish or Cuban Hogfish. I pulled one of those up about 30 miles off PCB this summer.

Love the videos!! It’s been a weird couple weeks in the st.johns, catching snook and tarpon all the way up in Jacksonville which is very unusual
I've seen atleast 4 snook in the past week as far up as the Trout river. Tarpon all over Nassau Sound too
