Another interesting and informative episode thanks. One point please. It's OK to mispronounce place names once but not taking the time to learn how the locals say their place name (regardless of why it's like it is) when you're purporting to be informing your viewers about our country could be considered disrespectful, especially now a lot of places are reverting to or including their traditional names. Albany, Derby, the Avon River and the Kimberley - not too difficult get right if you're a mindful traveller. I'd do the same for your state.
Thank you! We actually do usually do that, but Albany wasn't on our radar to actually visit this time round and just a random day trip without chatting to locals wasn't ideal. Luckily we have a great little community who share feedback! We actually have a town in Vic call Albury pronounced All-bury. Which is why we got confused and weren't too sure!
