Good idea for a forge/custom game mode. Asymmetric hide and seek with no vehicles or equipment, melee to tag them out. One point for every tag, opponents get a point for everyone not found. Maybe could have grapples just to make hiding more interesting.
I think you said during the stream that we couldn't use equipment to get into spots, but that one person at 5:22 definitely had to have used equipment. No shot there is a way to get there normally, if there is, please someone explain to me how. That is a crazy spot, no wonder Nick couldn't find that person. GGs.
That is a little rude the hider most definitely used equipment to get there when it was asked not to be used... maybe they didnt hear the rule? Anyway, I didn't play with yall that day, or watch I dont guess, but I think the hiders should be able to max out one specific equipment per life, like thrust, grapple or repulsor, to be able to get in these insteresting spots. (One per life, since you might fall off trying to get to a super rat spot, like 5:22 and can't always easily aquire the same ability, if you can get another at all during the hiding period), but then once you're in your spot, NO moving at all, or picking up other equipment, of course. Then, when certain times are left remaining, Nick (or the seeker in general) can aquire the repulsor and grapple to search spots, then the wasp and threat sensor. Or however order it ends up being best, maybe just choose 1 of the 4 every quarter time remaining.... hmm, it would require a lot of testing and reruleing to make subjectively "fair".. but someone can do it, why not us? Hopefully in forge we might be able to use the scripting to be able to make some awesome gametype variations and even make our own maps for hide and seek. We should be able to have the abilities spawn in for the script rules, like the hiders spawn next to the abilities for hiding, and the seeker spawns in a black box at first, before it opens after the hiding period.. then the seeker gets the seeking abilities as annouced, timed drop pods around the map and wasp/banshee pelican drop as scripted ordnance. There's a lot of possibilities to be made with this concept!
At the back of the map, you can actually walk off/below the pipe and hide there- there is a little ledge below the pipe, so you're hidden from view. It was great for Last Spartan Standing, and would be great for this too.
Yoo finally, been waiting for this, and yea I died at the start of the first one, but my hiding spot in the tree on the 2nd one was great, but Nick's curiosity bested me. 😂GGs Nick!
Lol I guess because visors and a gun pointed right at you are incredibly noticeable. Only showing your back, looking down, plus no outlines makes you blend in much better.
@@UberNick 0:53 you can see a square above his head, doesn’t matter how hidden you are, you still see it pop up if you’re aimed in that vicinity, kinda defeats the purpose
@@xwarxdogx6664 How so? Outlines to me make player visibility way too easy at any range. Just look for the bright glowing character across the map and shoot. They ruined any sort of sneaking or hiding in the game. I like the accessibility of being able to change outline colors but I honestly would've just rather had forced team colors that we could change.
Finally I can see Nick's pov of this and while he walks passed me 4 times
would not mind seeing you or other creators do this with thier communities more often, it was fun and informative
With this kind of map, hide and seek look really fun
Me near the start and nick saying “aiming at me was the worst decision you could of ever made” at 3:51

all the spartans always look so much cleaner in these thumbnails than they do in game, wish they had this level of gfx
3:49 made me check my game bar
Imagine Spartans actually playing hide and seek in the simulator/simulation they use according to lore
You literally shot me at 3:00 lmao. I was in the bugged spot that chat kept telling you about XD.
Gmod hide and seek with guns.

I suggest coatings without lights (like jun’s coating) and a very dark and/or non illuminated visor (like the grafite soul visor)
I LOVE that donation mesage sm💀💀
now i feel bad for missing this...
It was fun, pls come along next time 💙☺
These hiding spots once infection comes around
I did this same game type back on Forge World in Reach. I had the best spot possible on the Island literally under Water by the bridge. So much fun

More please :)

Why is everyone looking at the wall?

Someone should make this an official mode in forge with scripting.
I just want cross customization and season 3 lol
I want more 👏🙂
Bruh you literally have icons for enemies what’s the point of hide and seek….
What do you mean icons?

Was just saying that because if somebody is completely hidden in a bush and you aim there, you’re gonna see the icon clearly
@@eclipped It only appears when I aim directly at them, Not once did I spot someone became I only saw their icon
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yo
God Halo Infinite is so much better without outlines. Wish they never became a thing tbh.
I disagree

Easy visibility is more fair.
Agree. Those brilliant outlines are annoying. We can not see the couthings and also is too op in long distances
