I like how he puts great thought into each and every question before answering. To me, this shows respect to his audience-in this case, the media. He obviously wants to give meaningful answers. As a Canes fan I've never looked forward to a series more than this - I love Moe and the impact he's had on our org. May the best team and coaching staff win - its gonna be great! However this ends I will not be bitter at all - I will be happy for FLA and actually rooting for them in the finals if they win the series and move on and I will give due credit to Moe's influence on our org if we move on to the finals. I think the city takes a lot of pressure off as well. Not only is the tax burden much less on the players in Florida, the city life is better and the politics makes the biggest difference, because it's not the big sport in Florida and there is much more to do outside of hockey and the pressers are far less intense. Take the pressure off and the guys will perform.

So lets summarize a few things:
    1) Michael Bunting high sticked and BLEEDING - only a 2 minute penalty
    2) Matthew Knies injured by a Florida goon. No penalty. Knies knocked out of the series.
    3) David Kampf was hit by Gudas like a freight train and send flying through the stands after the whistle. No penalty. Kampf gone to the dressing room.
    4) Game #3 reffed by Wes MacAuley of all people, Leafs do not get a single power play.
    5) Game #5 a power play is handed to Florida in OVERTIME of a series deciding game.
    6) Game #5 An icing called against Toronto on a puck played by Bobrovsky.
    7) And in Game #5 the mother of them all, which ultimately did decided the series as the game would not have gone to OT was Morgan Reilly's goal that was deemed not to be a goal. The Refs cited Rule 78. Play blown dead. HOW? WHY? Si if a player takes a shot from the blue line and scores can the refs now say, Oh yeah but we INTENDED to blow the whistle - Soooooo NO GOAL FOR YOU! What BS is that? I saw one camera angle which definitively did show that that puck had in fact crossed the line. It was a goal. The camera shot was to the right of Bob's pad. Since its all one continuous play there was no need to blow the whistle or justification to intend to blow the whistle.
Even if Toronto had one Game 5, Florida was still the odds on favorite to win the series as they would be up 3-2 but holy crow it seemed very clear that there was a bias against the Leafs which played a part as to why they lost the series. All for losses were by just one goal. YES including Game #1 where Florida was about to win 3-2 with 5 seconds left.

Always the ref's fault, never blame the high-paid core that didn't produce this series...

@@flarrfan How is that the refs fault? Another idiot who cannot read. Where did I say not scoring was the refs fault? Bobrovsky stood on his head and played like a demon. That is why the Leafs could not score. 51 saves in Game 5? My point is that the refs helped Florida's offense by providing them with opportunity while depriving Toronto of any kind of edge, like no power plays in game 3 as one example or failing to call penalties against Florida when Leafs players were injured. What if the shoe was on the other foot? We take runs at Florida. Kill them and no penalty on the play. Your cool with that?

It's easy to feel cheated when only looking at one side of it, welcome to hockey. But you forgot the most important point in this series:
      8) The Leafs suck

Maurice and panthers we're laughing at the leafs being so soft . Maurice still refers Boston as a tough series , No shit!
Leafs were easy pickings. No fight no heart! no one sticks up for each other after someone get pasted to the boards! they leave their teammate laying on the ice. Nylander is usually the first one off the ice, auston picks sticks marner smiling, and Tavares needs a firm ware update Captain emotionless and cliche 'we have to learn from our mistakes!"
